Zimbabwe: Coup or Cholera?

By the time you finish reading this post you will know which one the AmeriKan MSM cares about.

What I care about:

"The false unity in Zimbabwe" by Robert I. Rotberg | June 13, 2009

PRIME MINISTER Morgan Tsvangirai of Zimbabwe, who visited President Obama yesterday, needs all the American support he can get. Although the head of government of an impoverished and beleaguered nation battered by a decade of severe mismanagement and corruption, Tsvangirai is hardly in charge. President Robert Mugabe is still calling too many of the crucial governing shots.

For that reason, Washington has been reluctant to help significantly to reconstruct Zimbabwe. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has wisely moved slowly, despite Tsvangirai's requests. Mugabe uses incoming funds to strengthen his own power, never to benefit the people.

Yeah, thank God AmeriKan politicians don't act that way.

If assistance could be channeled directly to Tsvangirai, and the ministries he controls, then Washington could invest sensibly in Zimbabwe....

The blood of thousands is on their hands. Washington needs to back Tsvangirai vigorously. Clinton should pressure the new South African government and the South African Development Community to remove Mugabe. She could use the moral power of her office to impress upon African national leaders that Mugabe must go and the unity government be led exclusively by Tsvangirai. But it is too soon to supply substantial aid to a nation-state still manipulated by Mugabe's despotism.

I guess that's one vote for coup, 'eh?

Btw, you also need to read this and this to understand the bulls*** lies and deceptions the Zionist s***-shovelers are slinging at you when it comes to Africa.

Turns out ALL the KILLERS are traced back to CLINTONITE GLOBALISTS and UNPROSECUTED WESTERN WAR CRIMINALS!

Something I'd expect AI to know....

"Amnesty International director says human rights in Zimbabwe still grim" by Associated Press | June 19, 2009

HARARE, Zimbabwe - Amnesty International’s director said yesterday that the situation in Zimbabwe remains grim despite promises of reform and that some in President Robert Mugabe’s party still regard violence as a legitimate political tool.

And USrael doesn't?

Irene Khan, the first secretary general of the human rights watchdog to visit Zimbabwe, complained that the southern African country’s four-month-old unity government was not pursuing human rights abusers.

“Progress on human rights has been woefully slow. Although the level of political violence is significantly lower than last year, the human rights situation remains precarious,’’ Khan said.

Minutes after she spoke and just a few hundred yards away, police beat peaceful protesters from a local human rights group. Khan had been promised a meeting with Mugabe during her visit but didn’t get one - even though the longtime, increasingly autocratic leader was championed as an Amnesty “prisoner of conscience’’ during his anticolonial campaign in the 1960s and 1970s....

Human rights, but NO CHOLERA, 'eh?

"Zimbabweans urged to return

LONDON - Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai of Zimbabwe has a message for the diaspora - come home. Tsvangirai, who reluctantly joined President Robert Mugabe in a power-sharing deal February, made the appeal to exiles in a London church yesterday but was forced off the stage by protesters who want Mugabe to step down. Tsvangirai later returned to the stage after church officials calmed the crowd of about 1,000 people (AP)."

I'm getting the feeling that the coup is more important.

"Diamond trade analyzed; Zimbabwe seized fields, report says" by Celia W. Dugger, New York Times | June 27, 2009

JOHANNESBURG - President Obama and European heads of state generally declined to aid Zimbabwe’s government directly, in part because of concerns that it continues to flout the rule of law.

But when it comes to AmeriKan or Israeli flouting of same law, who gives a flying f***, right?

The Human Rights Watch report is the latest sign of growing international concern about charges of killings and human rights abuses in the diamond fields southwest of the city of Mutare....

More worried about DIAMONDS than CHOLERA?

Once again, the Jewish influence overwhelms all others in my agnda-pushing Zionist War Daily.

Okay, MSM, one more chance.

Will you print the word cholera in an article about Zimbabwe?

"Zimbabwe to pull troops from mines" by Associated Press | July 6, 2009

HARARE, Zimbabwe - The country has promised to withdraw its soldiers from diamond fields in the east, an official newspaper reported yesterday - a week after a rights group alleged the military was committing killings and abuses in the area.

The move appeared to be an attempt to diffuse criticism over the military’s takeover of the Marange diamond fields and ensure that Zimbabwe’s precious stones will not be tainted with the “blood diamond’’ label by activists, which would reduce their value.

In my mind, they are ALL BLOOD DIAMONDS!

All for VANITIES SACK!

The Ministry of Mines denied last month’s report by Human Rights Watch that said troops had killed more than 200 people at the Marange diamond fields while forcing children to search for diamonds and beating villagers who got in the way.

Instead, Zimbabwe’s coalition government said the military was there to secure the area, about 150 miles east of Harare. Despite ignoring the cholera, that sure doesn't sound like a coup.

So NOW the MONSTER MUGABE has been OFFICIALLY RECOGNIZED by the West, 'eh? "Coalition government?" For a RIGGER of ELECTIONS?

The 140,000-acre Marange diamond fields were discovered in 2006 - at the height of Zimbabwe’s political, economic, and humanitarian crisis. Villagers rushed to the area and began finding diamonds near the surface. The army took over the Marange diamond fields in late October. Before that, the police were in control and Human Rights Watch said fewer abuses occurred.

And which western companies are ultimately profiting, MSM?

Officials of the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme - the world’s diamond-control body - recently visited the fields after allegations that security chiefs and loyalists of President Robert Mugabe were either perpetrating or tolerating rights abuses and illegal diamond exports.

Mines Minister Obert Mpofu told Kimberley inspectors on Saturday that the troops would be withdrawn from the diamond fields and the country would meet international mining standards, the Sunday Mail reported.

So we have DIAMONDS as a concern but NO CHOLERA mentioned ANYWHERE!!

I'm beginning to think the strangulation of Zimbabwe IS an Anglo-American plot.

The agenda-pushing MSM omissions have convinced me.

DURBAN, South Africa - Zimbabwe’s president, Robert Mugabe, described US Assistant Secretary for African Affairs Johnnie Carson as “an idiot’’ after meeting with him briefly Thursday.

So that's what he did after the Tonight Show.

In a transcript of an interview published on the website of the state-controlled Herald newspaper yesterday, Mugabe said of Carson, “Who is he? I hope he was not speaking for’’ President Obama....

The meeting was the first between Mugabe and a US official in several years. It took place on the sidelines of an African Union summit in Sirte, Libya....

Relations between Zimbabwe and the United States have been strained for a decade, with the United States accusing Mugabe’s government of human-rights abuses and economic mismanagement.

I guess cholera is filed under human rights abuses.
