One Last Dip in the Ocean

Yeah, because the AIR isn't cooler now the fart-mist fanatics have to start pffffttting in the water!

Sorry, but the lies no longer work here (ironically, the last of the agendas I jettisoned, an environmental epiphany if you will), fart-misters.

See
: Science Fiction or Science Fact?

Yeah, the last couple winters have proven it to me.

See you guys at the next NASCAR or drag racing contest!

"The warmest swimming ever; From Maine south, ocean temperatures topped charts" by Peter Schworm and Sarah Schweitzer, Globe Staff | September 7, 2009

.... Anecdotal evidence - from scientists to sunbathers - strongly suggests a broad warming trend....

At the same time, most researchers say it is possible that global warming is a contributing factor, although no definitive link has been established....

Because THERE IS NOT ONE -- especially when we are entering a cooling phase!

Researchers offer a range of theories, but many point to short-term, regional factors, such as the heavy rains earlier this summer. Fresh water tends to be warmer than ocean water and floats on top, closer to the sun, researchers say.

Please KEEP THAT in MIND as you continue forward, readers.

“I think we’re talking about a climatological phenomenon,’’ said Graham Shimmield, executive director for Bigelow Laboratory for Ocean Sciences in West Boothbay Harbor, Maine.

Just why the water has been so warm is difficult to untangle.

Not according to the next agenda-pushing piece below. They got it all figured out.

Keri Lindberg, who coordinates the healthy beaches program, says global and regional forces may be at play, but so might local circulation patterns, tides, and weather. Derek Arndt, chief of the climate monitoring branch of the National Climatic Data Center, attributed the worldwide rise in temperatures to global warming and El Niño, but said any warming of shore waters may be unrelated....

The exact cause is elusive, at least for now....

"In hot water: World sets ocean temperature record" by Seth Borenstein, AP Science Writer | August 20, 2009

WASHINGTON -- .... Worsening man-made global warming.... could also hasten the melting of Arctic sea ice and help hurricanes strengthen.

Yeah, too bad the ICE is EXPANDING up there!!!!

"Some maritime glaciers.... have grown in recent years, including 2007.... They include glaciers at Nigardsbreen, Norway, and Alaska that were helped by temperatures that remain below freezing and ample snow"

I'm so sick of the lies!

And that STRONGER HURRICANES argument has been DEBUNKED!

Sure has been a QUIET HURRICANE SEASON, hasn't it?

So, PFFFFFFFFFFFTTTTT, AP!!!!

Hurricane activity has been quiet for much of the summer, but that may change soon, Georgia Institute of Technology atmospheric science professor Judith said. Hurricane Bill quickly became a major storm and the National Hurricane Center warned that warm waters are along the path of the hurricane for the next few days.

Gee, that was THREE WEEKS ago and NOTHING!!!!

Looks like we GOT A LIAR HERE!!!! Looks like we CAUGHT ONE!!!!!!!!!!

Hurricanes need specific air conditions, so warmer water alone does not necessarily mean more or bigger storms, said James Franklin, chief hurricane specialist at the National Hurricane Center in Miami. Warm water is a required fuel for hurricanes. What's happening in the oceans "will add extra juice to the hurricanes," Curry said.

She really is a liar, isn't she?

An El Nino occurs when part of the central Pacific warms up, which in turn changes weather patterns worldwide for many months. El Nino and its cooling flip side, La Nina, happen every few years.

Yeah, this CYCLE is NATURAL and HAS NOTHING to do with MAN!!!!

During an El Nino, temperatures on water and land tend to rise in many places, leading to an increase in the overall global average temperature.

Then PLEASE EXPLAIN the COOLER-than-AVERAGE SUMMER at the same time!!!!

YOU STINK LIARS keep getting CAUGHT in your OWN BULLSHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

An El Nino has other effects, too, including dampening Atlantic hurricane formation and increasing rainfall and mudslides in Southern California.

Someone better in form Chicken-Little Curry there!

The Gulf of Mexico, where warm water fuels hurricanes, has temperatures dancing around 90. Most of the water in the Northern Hemisphere has been considerably warmer than normal. The Mediterranean is about three degrees warmer than normal. Higher temperatures rule in the Pacific and Indian Oceans. The heat is most noticeable near the Arctic, where water temperatures are as much as 10 degrees above average.

Wouldn't the icebergs be puddling for God's sake?

These guys think they can just say any old s*** that flows out there mouth and we will all believe it, huh?

Not anymore, guys! STOP LYING!!!!!!!!

The tongues of warm water could help melt sea ice from below and even cause thawing of ice sheets on Greenland, said Waleed Abdalati, director of the Earth Science and Observation Center at the University of Colorado.

Breaking heat records in water is more ominous as a sign of global warming than breaking temperature marks on land, because water takes longer to heat up and does not cool off as easily as land.

But WE measure AIR, not land temps!!!!

Or are they taking the land temperatures next to asphalt parking lots?

These guys. You see why I hardly want to cover this issue anymore?

"This warm water we're seeing doesn't just disappear next year; it'll be around for a long time," said climate scientist Andrew Weaver of the University of Victoria in British Columbia. It takes five times more energy to warm water than land. The warmer water "affects weather on the land," Weaver said. "This is another yet really important indicator of the change that's occurring."

Curry said water is warming in more places than usual, something that has not been seen in more than 50 years. Add to that an unusual weather pattern this summer where the warmest temperatures seem to be just over oceans, while slightly cooler air is concentrated over land, said Deke Arndt, head of climate monitoring at the climate data center.

Which would TOTALLY DEFY what we were told about El Nino!

Yeah, I have had it with the lies, especially after the last two winters and this summer.

The pattern is so unusual that he suggested meteorologists may want to study that pattern to see what's behind it. The effects of that warm water are already being seen in coral reefs, said C. Mark Eakin, coordinator of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's coral reef watch....

And you know what is doing even more damage to the reefs?

"Big fines protect Hawaii coral beds; Key to preserving habitat, tourism" by Audrey McAvoy, Associated Press | August 3, 2009

HONOLULU - .... Injured corals will have a harder time recovering from global warming and rising levels of carbon dioxide the oceans are absorbing amid growing greenhouse gas emissions....

Yeah, and we know who is pffffting it!

The Navy is another target, for coral wrecked over a 6- to 10-acre area when the USS Port Royal ran aground. The Navy has already spent nearly $40 million on ship repairs and some $7 million restoring the reef, including dispatching scuba divers to help reattach more than 5,000 broken coral colonies....

Militarism costs you in so many unseen ways, doesn't it, America?
