Oprah's Next Book

Great. More fantasy.

"Palin reports receiving at least $1.25m for book

ANCHORAGE - Sarah Palin, the former GOP vice presidential candidate, reported yesterday that she has received at least $1.25 million for her highly anticipated upcoming book “Going Rogue.’’

I created a Palin file if you want to see the changing metamorphosis I have had over the last year plus.

In a disclosure statement of her finances from Jan. 1 to July 27, when she resigned as Alaska’s governor, Palin says she received $1.25 million from publisher HarperCollins for the book. The statement doesn’t cover the three months she has been out of office, and Palin doesn’t elaborate on her book compensation, describing the $1.25 million figure only as a “retainer.’’

It’s likely she will make more money when it’s all said and done. “Going Rogue’’ catapulted to No. 1 on Amazon.com and Barnes & Noble’s website after HarperCollins announced in late September it had moved up the release date of 1.5 million copies. The book is currently listed at No. 6 on Amazon.com and No. 11 on Barnes & Noble’s website.

Palin is scheduled to appear on “The Oprah Winfrey Show’’ on Nov. 16, the day before the book’s release.

I'm sorry, ladies; however, I don't respect Oprah at all.

Remember
Oprah going down the throat of the young lady who questioned George W. Bush's and the government's integrity regarding the accusations against Iraq?

A clip from a clip from Bill Moyers’s “Buying the War”:

Besides, I was never very impressed with her book selections to begin with. The choices sucked; I know, because I read one.
