Afghans Welcoming Obama's Surge With Open Arms

I guess you don't mind the stinking carcass of credibility you had, MSM.

This has to be one of the MOST BOGUS POLLS I have EVER SEEN!!!

"3 US troops among 6 killed in Afghanistan; Felled in attack on NATO patrol; But poll shows signs of hope" by Deb Riechmann, Associated Press | January 12, 2010

KABUL - Nevertheless, a new poll says Afghans are more optimistic than a year ago and think the Taliban are losing momentum.

Nevertheless, but, if, however, could be, may be, yet, still, SICK of seeing THAT SHIT in my NEWSPAPER when my COLLEGE WRITING INSTRUCTORS said those are BAD WORDS for a "report!"

I will NEVER BELIEVE an AGENDA-PUSHING MSM REPORT on an AmeriKan "news" poll ever again!!

The top US commander in Afghanistan said the rising presence of international forces is blunting the militants.

Then WHAT is with all the VIOLENCE, dipshit?!

General Stanley McChrystal said the international force is on its way to convincing the Afghan people that it is there to protect them. “When I sit in an area that the Taliban controlled only seven months ago and now you meet with . . . elders and they describe with considerable optimism the future, you sense the tide is turning,’’ he told ABC News about a recent trip to Helmand province where many of the US reinforcements will be sent.

I'll be sure to do my own on-the-ground check, bulls***ter.

Afghans also think better days are ahead, according to the opinion poll, conducted last month before the suicide bombing that killed seven employees at a CIA base. About 40 percent of Afghans believed the Taliban insurgency was weaker than it was a year ago; 30 percent thought it had gotten stronger, and 25 percent believed the strength of the insurgency remained the same.

Nearly seven in 10 Afghans supported the presence of US forces and 61 percent favored the military buildup, according to the survey, the fifth commissioned by ABC, the BBC, and ARD German TV since 2005....

Oh, the STENCH of the MOUNTAIN of AGENDA-PUSHING SHIT is UNREAL!!!!!

*******************************

Although polling in a war zone can be problematic, the results suggest that most Afghans neither support the Taliban nor share Western concern about the legitimacy of President Hamid Karzai’s leadership after a fraud-ridden election. They also underscore the ambivalence of the public about the foreign forces, which are still held in low regard here.

Shades of the GEORGE BUSH DAYS, 'eh, America?

Obama doesn't care; did he even say sorry?

People chant anti-American slogans and burn an effigy of U.S. President Barack Obama in Jalalabad, south Afghanistan, Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2009., during a protest against the recent killings of 10 civilians allegedly by the coalition forces in Kunar province, eight of them boys aged between 12 and 14. A NATO official said initial reports from troops involved in the fighting on Sunday indicated that the victims were insurgents.

Hey, they are also building you a fire, Amurkn!

Afghan govt. demands arrest of US "death squad" who handcuffed, executed 8 children. US refuses

Kai Eide, UN Representative to Afghanistan confirmed the Afghan government’s investigative conclusions that US troops handcuffed and then executed eight students enrolled in grades 6 through 10 in a night raid on December 27, 2009. The US military and NATO responded the troops involved were non-official. The most likely source of para-military “non-official” troops in Afghanistan is Blackwater/Xe....

Back to the bulls***.

While Afghans supported the presence of foreign forces, the overall image of the United States and NATO remained weak, according to the poll released yesterday....

A PFFFFFFFFFFFFFTT POLL!!

But 66 percent said airstrikes by the United States and international forces were unacceptable because they endanger innocent civilians....

Yeah, but 7 in 10 want us there, pffffft!

Of course, that also means that around 33% of the respondents said send down the missiles, right?

After steep declines in recent years, seven in 10 Afghans thought their nation was headed in the right direction. That’s up 30 percentage points since January 2009. The number of Afghans who expected their lives to be better a year from now also jumped 20 percentage points from a year ago - to a new high of 71 percent, the poll said.

Yup, THINGS have NEVER LOOKED BETTER in Afghanistan!!!!

Then WHY WE SENDING MORE TROOPS?

However,

Have YOU had enough of these terms, my poor readers!?

Afghans’ views about the direction the nation was headed were gloomier in high-conflict areas such as Helmand, the heart of the Afghan poppy trade and the Taliban-led insurgency, the poll said.

Yeah, the SHIT always FLOATS to the TOP of the CUP of MSM COFFEE!!!

Despite

Must they LEAD EVERY PARAGRAPH with one?

eight years of war, 61 percent of the Afghans surveyed said they expected their children to have a better life - up 14 percentage points in the past 12 months, according to the poll.

IF THEY SURVIVE, that is!

Of course, HOW CAN IT GET MUCH WORSE, huh?

Abdul Salam Zaeef, a former Taliban ambassador to Pakistan, does not share the optimism. In an interview earlier this week, Zaeef said he thought the situation in the country was deteriorating - that Afghanistan was moving in the wrong direction. “I’m not optimistic that something positive will happen in Afghanistan,’’ he said. “Anything happening - it will be negative.’’

Yeah, stick the ONE GUY who speaks some semblance of TRUTH three-quarters of the way into the piece -- and then forget about his opinion (with another CHOICE WORD)!

But

Need I even say it?

according to the poll, the Taliban do not enjoy overwhelming support from the public.

No, it is not OVERWHELMING but it is SUPPORT!!

Notice the CLEVER MSM WORD GAME there?

See: Taliban I Told You So

What do you mean they are the PEOPLE WHO LIVED THERE?

And THEY CERTAINLY WERE NOT POLLED, were they?

Reporters CAN'T EVEN VERIFY REPORTS from the area, so HOW CAN WE TRUST a MSM POLL?!!!!!

Asked whether they wanted Afghanistan run by the Taliban or the current government, 90 percent said they favored Karzai’s government.

After that FRAUDULENT TURD of an ELECTION?

That's MORE than the PERCENTAGE of VOTES he allegedly got in that RIG JOB!

Are you NOT OUT of SHIT YET, MSM?!!!!!

British Foreign Secretary David Miliband called the poll results “striking and significant.’’

“Our greatest resource in Afghanistan is the fact that the Afghan people don’t want to go back to Taliban misrule,’’ Miliband told BBC Radio.

Yeah, is it NOT INTERESTING that this AGENDA-PUSHING, WAR-PROMOTING MSM would tout a poll that says AFGHANS want us to STAY while INCREASING NUMBERS of Americans and Brits want OUT NOW!!

Yeah, it just BROKE DOWN the DOOR and is FLOWING DOWN the STREET!

The poll of a national random sample of 1,534 adults in all 34 Afghan provinces was conducted from Dec. 11 to Dec. 23. The margin of error is plus or minus 3 percentage points. The interviews were conducted in person by the Afghan Center for Socio-Economic and Opinion Research in Kabul, a subsidiary of D3 Systems Inc. in Vienna, Va.

Decide for yourself whether you think they are too be believed. Remember, the bigger the numbers, 'er, lies, the more likely people are to believe them.

The survey also tracked a turnaround in public attitudes toward the Afghan government and the country’s embattled, yet growing, security forces. Seventy percent gave positive ratings to Karzai and the Afghan National Army - up from 52 percent and 57 percent, respectively.

Oh, I'M FULL UP, readers!

--3 US troops among 6 killed in Afghanistan--"

Yup, they REALLY LOVE US coming over, AmeriKa!
