Officers have arrested a man who had the French Impressionist’s “Beach in Pourville’’ in his possession and confessed to stealing it, officials said.
Romuald Piecuch, Poznan police spokesman, said officers detained the 41-year-old in the city of Olkusz on Tuesday. Fingerprints at the site of the theft helped identify the suspect, Piecuch said.
So what took them so long, and why(?) does the perp remain anonymous?
