Lebanon is Possessed by the Devil

I guess Israel will need to invade it again.

"Man convicted of witchcraft faces beheading" by Associated Press | April 2, 2010

BEIRUT — The lawyer for a Lebanese TV psychic who was convicted of witchcraft charges in Saudi Arabia said yesterday that her client could be beheaded this week and urged Lebanese and Saudi leaders to help spare his life....

Oh, it turns out SATAN is in SAUDI ARABIA, huh?

A Lebanese official said Beirut has received no word from its embassy in Riyadh about Ali Sibat’s possible execution. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to the media. Sibat is one of scores of people reported arrested every year in the kingdom for practicing sorcery, witchcraft, black magic, and fortune telling. These practices are considered polytheism by the government in Saudi Arabia, a deeply religious Muslim country.

And they are our friends as we lecture Muslims about tolerance towards women (when we are not obliterating them)?

The stinking, stanking stench of hypocrisy there!

I'll have to check what other printed matter is around the Globe next time.

WTF, readers?

Then again, maybe the Saudis themselves are just slaves and servants to the
real devils.

"Saudi cleric plans to visit Jerusalem" by Associated Press | April 6, 2010

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia — A Saudi cleric announced yesterday on his television show that he will visit Jerusalem next week to bolster Muslim claims to the city....

I'm sure he is looking like one to Israel now.

Sheik Mohammed al-Areefi said he was not afraid of any “treachery from the Jews,’’ as he had put his trust in God....

Israeli Foreign Ministry spokesman Yigal Palmor said: “Throughout the years many people from countries like Libya, Indonesia, and other countries that don’t have relations with Israel have visited Jerusalem,’’ he said. “All these visits were naturally coordinated with Israeli authorities.’’

Areefi is viewed as a comparative moderate among Saudi Arabia’s conservative clergy. His show is aimed at encouraging young people to get involved in their communities and contribute their time to humanitarian work. It features a studio audience of young people and live call-ins from viewers.

RAMALLAH, West Bank — The Palestinian president, Mahmoud Abbas, has fired his chief of staff over involvement in a videotaped sex scandal that has shaken the Palestinian leadership, a presidential aide said yesterday.

The firing is the latest chapter in a scandal that erupted in February when Israeli television broadcast a video showing the official, Rafiq Husseini, removing his clothes, climbing into bed, and calling for a woman not his wife to join him — part of an alleged scheme to extort sex in exchange for political favors.

The tape sent shockwaves through conservative Palestinian society and further eroded public confidence in Abbas and his aides, who are widely seen as aloof and out of touch with the public.

That is why AmeriKa backs 'em! Same situation at home.

Speaking to the Associated Press yesterday, Husseini called the taping entrapment and said he never misused his position.

No, sounds like he was using it.

“The trap was in the end for the purpose of me stopping my work against corruption and against the Israeli occupation,’’ he said.

Yeah, actually, is true (see links below).

Nevertheless, the erudite, British-educated Husseini accepted the president’s decision, calling the mishap a “personal error of judgment.’’

Another mission success for Israel!

Palestinian Sex Tape Was an Israeli Set-Up

Yeah, nothing about that in the recap.

Gee, from stealing identities and assassinating people to this, what a nest of vipers.
