The calls began coming in Monday. A horrified guidance counselor, a teacher, and then a student lit up Boston’s new antibullying tip line, telling officials about multiple Facebook pages that featured pictures of female high school students with derogatory and sexually explicit captions beneath them.

Many of the Facebook pages accused female students of promiscuity. One, for example, showed a picture of a student in heels, smiling over her shoulder at the camera, with the caption “Walking STD!!!’’ Other captions were far worse.

Students and city and school officials say they have found at least 15 Facebook pages over the last few days that use obscene or hateful language to target female students, as well as a handful of male students, school administrators, and teachers at schools in Boston and surrounding communities.

Many of the pages concerned students at Charlestown High School.
School and police officials say they consider the pages to be acts of cyberbullying, a form of harassment that parents and educational and law enforcement officials have become increasingly alarmed by after the suicides of two Western Massachusetts students who had been bullied.
Now, WHAT about the REAL KIND like SHOOTING PEOPLE DOWN in the STREETS and their homes?
Boston officials have been scrambling to have the pages removed and have been meeting to figure out how to address the apparent cyberbullying and find the culprits. But as the offending Facebook pages come down, new ones go up....
Yeah, they can gather up all my web searches (sorry, no porn or anything) but they can't shut down the dick kids dirges.
You know, this stuff stinks more and more all the time.
Boston and school police sent a letter to principals about the bullying issue yesterday, and school officials plan to send letters next week to parents to provide them with tips on determining whether their children are victims or instigators.
Well, I guess the biggest bully on the block would know.
The schools are also recruiting cybermentors, students savvy at social media who will help others who believe they are being harassed on social networking sites.

City officials say they are moving to fight such websites in the aftermath of the Jan. 14 suicide of Phoebe Prince, the South Hadley freshman whose death following months of torment from classmates sparked criminal charges and national outcry about how the school handled those accused of bullying the 15-year-old girl.
Then there is only one course of action:
Shut Down South Hadley High School
Then execute the kids.
We don't need those kinds of kids in AmeriK.... never mind.
“It’s extremely dangerous when somebody is victimized like this,’’ said Michelle Urbano, director of the Division of Child and Adolescent Health, part of the city’s Public Health Commission. “We certainly don’t want it to get anywhere near the point of South Hadley.’’
Meanwhile, kids are lying in the street dead from police gunfire.

School officials and police are struggling to identify the perpetrators, who have been using fake names when they register with Facebook to create the pages. Authorities visited the homes of victims and possible perpetrators Wednesday night.
Yeah, but it is OKAY when FBI AGENTS and GOVERNMENT DOES IT!!!!!
Police say they could pursue criminal charges if they determine that perpetrators have violated victims’ civil rights.
Of course, if the cops beat you to death or blow you away, no charges.
I can see why kids have a 'tude now; they look at authority and say the same thing as the rest of us, "what assholes." Only problem is, kids haven't had their rebellion worn down like geezers such as yours truly.
“A lot of it is, unfortunately, free speech,’’ Boston police Superintendent Daniel Linskey said. “But depending on how far they push it, they can be criminally charged. . . . If they’re threatening and harassing, what starts out as what they think are juvenile pranks can go awry pretty quickly.’’

Schools could also discipline students for posting derogatory comments on Facebook pages....

The Legislature will resume work next week on an anti-bullying bill the House and Senate passed last month. The two chambers must reconcile their differences on the measure before it goes to the governor....

The bill would give administrators more power to investigate and discipline students who bully.
So WHO INVESTIGATES BULLYING POLICE and WAR-CRIMINAL LEADERS?!!
When do THOSE INVESTIGATIONS GET GOING, as well as the ones investigating the WAR LIES and PROPAGANDA of the MSM MOUTHPIECES that CONVEYED all the CRAP, hanh?

Attorneys for Flannery Mullins, Sharon Chanon Velazquez, and Ashley Longe, all 16 and from South Hadley, appeared in Hampshire-Franklin Juvenile Court in Hadley yesterday, where pleas of not delinquent were entered on behalf of their clients. They are being charged both as adults and as youthful offenders with civil rights violations and stalking.
The three others charged with playing roles in Prince’s alleged torment and suicide were arraigned Tuesday in Hampshire Superior Court, with their attorneys entering pleas of not guilty pleas on their behalf....

Intensifying public pressure against the leaders of the South Hadley schools, Governor Deval Patrick criticized school officials yesterday for their handling of the bullying campaign against Phoebe Prince, saying it was “outrageous’’ that more was not done to protect the 15-year-old and that administrators who did not intervene should be held accountable.

Prince’s suicide and the aggressive prosecution of her alleged tormentors has captured international headlines and become a symbol of the potential legal perils for teenage bullies....

GRANBY — A 37-year-old paramedic found dead in her home Monday night was strangled, prosecutors said.

Police found the body of Annamarie Rintala in her Barton Street home about 7:15 p.m., Northwestern District Attorney Elizabeth Scheibel said yesterday. An autopsy completed Friday found that Rintala had been strangled, she said.
Looks like the lady has her hands full now.
Scheibel said the killing, which rocked this Western Massachusetts town of about 6,000 people, was not random, but she declined to disclose many details of the case. Rintala shared the home with her spouse, Cara Lee Rintala, and their 3-year-old daughter....

No one answered the door yesterday at Rintalas’ home, a white ranch with blue shutters. In the fenced-in backyard was a swing set and a hot tub with a plastic flamingo perched next to it. The district attorney would not comment on whether Cara Lee Rintala had been questioned in the case. No one has been charged with the slaying....
Scheibel declined to comment about whether anyone else was home when the body was found or where the body was found in the house....
But she had plenty to say on that other thing.
News of the slaying left residents reeling in Granby, tucked between rolling fields and farm stands advertising fresh eggs....
Yeah, and the whole "lifestyle choice" aspect just adds to the disgust.
