Giving It Up For the Gays

It’s a nonissue now.... This is a new century, and marriage has been settled here in Massachusetts.... It’s an issue we’ve moved beyond’’

But the Globe keeps BRINGING it
BACK UP!!!!

The FRONT-PAGE, Globe????????

"Consensus on gay rights eludes GOP; Baker, Mihos support marriage; Brown a foe" by Matt Viser, Globe Staff | January 11, 2010

Still, gay rights - and specifically gay marriage - remains a sensitive subject for Massachusetts Republicans.

NOT for ME!

Several would not discuss it, or declined to say how they felt about the issue personally.

Even GOP candidate for governor Charles Baker, in a recent interview, was leery of reflecting on the issue, instead directing the conversation to economic issues.

Yeah, THIS NEXT ELECTION is NOT going to be about ABORTION and GAYS no matter HOW HARD YOU TRY, Globe!

It is going to be about INDIFFERENT INCUMBENTS, the RUINOUS WARS, and the LOOTING we have suffered!

ONE MORE CHANCE to HEAR US, then all bets are off!!!!

“The issue at the state level and the federal level is spending, taxes, jobs, and the economy,’’ Baker said.

His campaign manager also sought to cut the conversation short after several minutes. Baker made it clear on the day he submitted papers for his candidacy that he supports gay marriage. He also selected as his running mate Richard Tisei, the Senate minority leader and a veteran lawmaker who is also openly gay and who, if elected, would be perhaps the highest-ranking openly gay Republican in the country....

And you could be PROUD of THAT, Massachusetts!!!!
