Iceland Volcano Erupts

And I am about to as well, readers.

"Volcanic eruption reported on glacier" by Associated Press / May 22, 2011

REYKJAVIK — Iceland’s most active volcano has started erupting, the national Meteorological Office said yesterday — just over a year after another eruption on the North Atlantic island shut down European air traffic for days.

The eruption at the Grimsvotn volcano was accompanied by several small earthquakes. A no-fly zone has been designated for 120 nautical miles in all directions from the volcano, which is on the uninhabited Vatnajokull glacier in southeast Iceland. Grimsvotn last erupted in 2004. Scientists have been expecting a new eruption there and have said previously that this one would probably be small and should not lead to the air travel chaos caused in April 2010 by ash from the Eyjafjallajokull volcano."

Too bad. I say that because the war planners were inconvenienced.
