Investigators combing through the grim aftermath of the deadly Boston Marathon terrorist attack have found evidence that timing devices were used Monday to detonate the bombs that ripped through race spectators on Boylston Street, said an official briefed on the investigation.
Working with fragments painstakingly gathered at what is considered the city’s largest-ever crime scene, they also determined that the two bombs were probably fashioned from 6-liter pressure cookers, filled with nails and small ball bearings, like buckshot, to increase the carnage, and then hidden in black nylon bags or backpacks and left on the ground. FBI bomb experts at the FBI Academy in Quantico, Va., will try to rebuild the devices from fragments that include a circuit board that indicated the bombs were detonated on a timer, rather than remote control.

The bombs, which detonated 12 seconds apart just after 2:50 p.m. Monday near the finish line of the world’s most prestigious road race, killed three people, injured 176 others, and set an entire city on edge. Seventy remained in Boston hospitals Tuesday night, including 24 in critical condition.
Extra police patrols roamed eerily quiet streets on Tuesday, while other law enforcement officials started reviewing videos and photos – frame by frame – of one of the most photographed events in the world. Security fears disrupted two flights at Logan Airport, as airlines responded to the concerns of jittery passengers. And the White House confirmed that President Obama would visit the city on Thursday, to speak at an interfaith prayer service.
They are really milking this thing.
The FBI, which is leading the massive investigation into the bombing, asked the public for tips on anyone who may have been lugging a heavy black bag near the finish line. Local and federal law enforcement officials are scouring thousands of photographs and video for some sign of the bomber.
“The person who did this was someone’s friend, co-worker or neighbor,” said Richard DesLauriers, special agent in charge of the FBI’s Boston office. “Somebody knows who did this.” No one has claimed responsibility for the atrocity and “the range of suspects and motives remain wide open,” DesLauriers said.
Translation: The truth media represented by bloggers has short-circuited their pre-scripted cover story, and now they are scrambling.
As the investigation broadened, so did the city’s mourning, as more details were revealed on the three people who died — an 8-year-old boy from Dorchester, a 29-year-old woman from Medford, and a Chinese graduate student at Boston University — and the scores injured, many of whom lost limbs.

Bostonians shaken by the attack woke Tuesday to a changed city, with heavily armed officers standing sentry at intersections, MBTA stations, the airport, and even city parks.

But there also were moving displays of solidarity from cities across the United States: The Boston city flag flew at half-staff at New York City Hall in Manhattan. The Chicago Tribune sports section published a tribute to Boston sports teams. “As much as it is anathema for a Chicago fan to root for any other town — especially Beantown and all of its championships — here we are,” the paper wrote. “Hang in there, Boston.”

And at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx, Boston’s ultimate rival displayed the Yankee logo side-by-side with the Boston Red Sox “B” and the message: “United We Stand.”
And in the city, words of caution mixed with defiant optimism. “We’re Boston; we’re one community,” said Mayor Thomas M. Menino. “We’re not going to let terrorists take over our city.”

During briefings, Governor Deval Patrick announced that the interfaith prayer service, which Obama will attend, had been scheduled for 11 a.m. at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross.

According to the official briefed on the investigation, the first of the two bombs to explode was placed on the ground on Boylston Street, across from finish-line viewing stands where dignitaries had been sitting earlier, including Patrick; the second bag was placed on the ground about 75 to 100 yards away, outside the Forum restaurant at 755 Boylston St.
The bomb-making technique used in the attack was detailed in a 2010 article in the online magazine, Inspire, published by the terrorist group Al Qaeda. The technique was used in the attempted bombing of Times Square in 2010, as well as in an attack in Pakistan earlier that year.

However, security experts said the technique is akin to a scaled-up pipe bomb, and has been used in attacks by organizations not related to Al Qaeda.
Roy Parker, a retired Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives agent who developed the agency’s explosives training program, said Tuesday the circuit board would be “ key to determining whether it was a timer or remote control device.”
Based on his past experience investigating some 50 bombings, Parker said examiners are looking at scraps of the bomb components, bags, and all forensic evidence found at the scene of the blasts. “You’re looking for a needle in a haystack, but the needle is there,” said Parker, who now works for TWT Consulting in Maryland. “If you look long enough, you’ll get stuck with it. This is not an unsolvable crime.”

A pressure cooker bomb “is not a high-tech device,” said Michael White, director of explosives and training with MSA Security, a consultant company, in an interview. Typically, such a device would contain low-level explosives inside a container that could withstand a great deal of pressure. The explosives would then be ignited with some type of power source, setting off the explosion.
Risk analyst Alexia Ash said the early signs suggest the attack was more likely perpetrated by home-grown terrorist, rather than a foreign network like Al Qaeda.
Well, there you go. Propaganda requires groundwork to be paved.
“We’re talking Al Qaeda inspired but not trained,” said Ash, head of forecasting in North America for Exclusive Analysis Ltd., an IHS affiliate that analyzes relevant political and violent risks around the world. “The person who made this type of weapon had some type of training or at least some type of practice. It wasn’t a Molotov cocktail, but it wasn’t a truck bomb. It was between the two. It’s low capability, but something that would require training or practice to produce.”

Law enforcement officials also renewed a call Tuesday for photos and video shot by race spectators, on the theory that somebody among the untold thousands of people who documented the scene has pictures of the bomber. Homeland Security officials asked departing passengers at Logan Airport on Tuesday to share their photos or videos of the finish line, said a law enforcement official familiar with the investigation.

Hundreds of officers fanned out across the city Tuesday, working 12-hour shifts in a show of force meant to reassure the public....

Police are also guarding specific areas around Boston they deem vulnerable, particularly Jewish places of worship and institutions, according to a Boston Marathon response plan obtained by the Globe.
Boston police assigned two officers to patrol the Consulate General of Israel at Park Plaza, and ordered officers throughout the city to randomly patrol 14 other Jewish institutions, including temples, hospitals, a day care center and a senior center. Officers assigned to the South End district were ordered to patrol Jewish campus organizations, such as Northeastern University Hillel and Boston University Hillel.

More than 140 officers were sent to patrol hotels across the downtown area and more than 100 were sent to guard the crime scene perimeter, according to the plan.
Boston police have said they have heard no specific threat. The plan, officials said, reflects overall concern police would have over any locations they deem vulnerable, because of their symbolic importance, their geographic location, or — in the case of Jewish institutions — their history as targets of terrorism.

Investigators on Monday had questioned a Saudi national, a student at a Boston-area university, who had been hurt in the explosion. US officials informed the Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Washington Monday night that the student was not a suspect and was cooperating with the investigation, according to Nail Al-Jubeir, spokesman for the embassy.
Then that was a bs piece of propaganda put out to make bloggers who were instantly on the case look bad, or the original cover story of "CIA-Duh" was scrapped.
At Logan International Airport Tuesday morning, a United Airlines flight to Chicago was brought back to the gate after passengers expressed fear over two people speaking a foreign language, said aviation authorities. Passengers and bags were taken off the plane and re-screened, and two people were rebooked on a later flight, said United Airlines spokeswoman Christen David.

Soon afterward, a US Airways flight arriving from Philadelphia was kept from the gate due to suspicions about a checked bag on the plane. Passengers were bused to the terminal. The bag was rescreened and cleared.

There's not much to say about Monday's Boston Marathon attack because there is virtually no known evidence regarding who did it or why. There are, however, several points to be made about some of the widespread reactions to this incident. Much of that reaction is all-too-familiar and quite revealing in important ways:
(1) The widespread compassion for yesterday's victims and the intense anger over the attacks was obviously authentic and thus good to witness. But it was really hard not to find oneself wishing that just a fraction of that compassion and anger be devoted to attacks that the US perpetrates rather than suffers. These are exactly the kinds of horrific, civilian-slaughtering attacks that the US has been bringing to countries in the Muslim world over and over and over again for the last decade, with very little attention paid....
Juan Cole this morning makes a similar point about violence elsewhere. Indeed, just yesterday in Iraq, at least 42 people were killed and more than 250 injured by a series of car bombs, the enduring result of the US invasion and destruction of that country. Somehow the deep compassion and anger felt in the US when it is attacked never translates to understanding the effects of our own aggression against others.
One particularly illustrative example I happened to see yesterday was a re-tweet from Washington Examiner columnist David Freddoso, proclaiming:
Idea of secondary bombs designed to kill the first responders is just sick. How does anyone become that evil?"
I don't disagree with that sentiment. But I'd bet a good amount of money that the person saying it - and the vast majority of other Americans - have no clue that targeting rescuers with "double-tap" attacks is precisely what the US now does with its drone program and other forms of militarism. If most Americans knew their government and military were doing this, would they react the same way as they did to yesterday's Boston attack: "Idea of secondary bombs designed to kill the first responders is just sick. How does anyone become that evil?" That's highly doubtful, and that's the point.
There's nothing wrong per se with paying more attention to tragedy and violence that happens relatively nearby and in familiar places. Whether wrong or not, it's probably human nature, or at least human instinct, to do that, and that happens all over the world. I'm not criticizing that. But one wishes that the empathy for victims and outrage over the ending of innocent human life that instantly arises when the US is targeted by this sort of violence would at least translate into similar concern when the US is perpetrating it, as it so often does (far, far more often than it is targeted by such violence).
Regardless of your views of justification and intent: whatever rage you're feeling toward the perpetrator of this Boston attack, that's the rage in sustained form that people across the world feel toward the US for killing innocent people in their countries. Whatever sadness you feel for yesterday's victims, the same level of sadness is warranted for the innocent people whose lives are ended by American bombs. However profound a loss you recognize the parents and family members of these victims to have suffered, that's the same loss experienced by victims of US violence. It's natural that it won't be felt as intensely when the victims are far away and mostly invisible, but applying these reactions to those acts of US aggression would go a long way toward better understanding what they are and the outcomes they generate.
(2) The rush, one might say the eagerness, to conclude that the attackers were Muslim was palpable and unseemly, even without any real evidence. The New York Post quickly claimed that the prime suspect was a Saudi national (while also inaccurately reporting that 12 people had been confirmed dead). The Post's insinuation of responsibility was also suggested on CNN by Former Bush Homeland Security Adviser Fran Townsend ("We know that there is one Saudi national who was wounded in the leg who is being spoken to"). Former Democratic Rep. Jane Harman went on CNN to grossly speculate that Muslim groups were behind the attack. Anti-Muslim bigots like Pam Geller predictably announced that this was "Jihad in America". Expressions of hatred for Muslims, and a desire to do violence, were then spewing forth all over Twitter (some particularly unscrupulous partisan Democrat types were identically suggesting with zero evidence that the attackers were right-wing extremists).
Obviously, it's possible that the perpetrator(s) will turn out to be Muslim, just like it's possible they will turn out to be extremist right-wing activists, or left-wing agitators, or Muslim-fearing Anders-Breivik types, or lone individuals driven by apolitical mental illness. But the rush to proclaim the guilty party to be Muslim is seen in particular over and over with such events. Recall that on the day of the 2011 Oslo massacre by a right-wing, Muslim-hating extremist, the New York Times spent virtually the entire day strongly suggesting in its headlines that an Islamic extremist group was responsible, a claim other major news outlets (including the BBC and Washington Post) then repeated as fact. The same thing happened with the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing, when most major US media outlets strongly suggested that the perpetrators were Muslims. As FAIR documented back then:
This lesson is never learned because, it seems, many people don't want to learn it. Even when it turns out not to have been Muslims who perpetrated the attack but rather right-wing, white Christians, the damage from this relentless and reflexive blame-pinning endures.
"In the wake of the explosion that destroyed the Murrah Federal Office Building, the media rushed — almost en masse — to the assumption that the bombing was the work of Muslim extremists. 'The betting here is on Middle East terrorists,' declared CBS News' Jim Stewart just hours after the blast (4/19/95). 'The fact that it was such a powerful bomb in Oklahoma City immediately drew investigators to consider deadly parallels that all have roots in the Middle East,' ABC's John McWethy proclaimed the same day.
"'It has every single earmark of the Islamic car-bombers of the Middle East,' wrote syndicated columnist Georgie Anne Geyer (Chicago Tribune, 4/21/95). 'Whatever we are doing to destroy Mideast terrorism, the chief terrorist threat against Americans, has not been working,' declared the New York Times' A.M. Rosenthal (4/21/95). The Geyer and Rosenthal columns were filed after the FBI released sketches of two suspects who looked more like Midwestern frat boys than mujahideen."
(3) One continually encountered yesterday expressions of dread and fear from Arabs and Muslims around the world that the attacker would be either or both. That's because they know that all members of their religious or ethnic group will be blamed, or worse, if that turns out to be the case. That's true even though leading Muslim-American groups such as CAIR harshly condemned the attack (as they always do) and urged support for the victims, including blood donations. One tweeter, referencing the earthquake that hit Iran this morning, satirized this collective mindset by writing: "Please don't be a Muslim plate tectonic activity."
As understandable as it is, that's just sad to witness. No other group reacts with that level of fear to these kinds of incidents, because no other group has similar cause to fear that they will all be hated or targeted for the acts of isolated, unrepresentative individuals. A similar dynamic has long prevailed in the domestic crime context: when the perpetrators of notorious crimes turned out to be African-American, the entire community usually paid a collective price. But the unique and well-grounded dread that hundreds of millions of law-abiding, peaceful Muslims and Arabs around the world have about the prospect that this attack in Boston was perpetrated by a Muslim highlights the climate of fear that has been created for and imposed on them over the last decade.
(4) The reaction to the Boston attack underscored, yet again, the utter meaninglessness of the word "terrorism". News outlets were seemingly scandalized that President Obama, in his initial remarks, did not use the words "terrorist attack" to describe the bombing. In response, the White House ran to the media to assure them that they considered it "terrorism". Fox News' Ed Henry quoted a "senior administration official" as saying this: "When multiple (explosive) devices go off that's an act of terrorism."
Is that what "terrorism" is? "When multiple (explosive) devices go off"? If so, that encompasses a great many things, including what the US does in the world on a very regular basis. Of course, the quest to know whether this was "terrorism" is really code for: "was this done by Muslims"? That's because, in US political discourse, "terrorism" has no real meaning other than: violence perpetrated by Muslims against the west. The reason there was such confusion and uncertainty about whether this was "terrorism" is because there is no clear and consistently applied definition of the term. At this point, it's little more than a term of emotionally manipulative propaganda. That's been proven over and over, and it was against yesterday.
(5) The history of these types of attacks over the last decade has been clear and consistent: they are exploited to obtain new government powers, increase state surveillance, and take away individual liberties. On NBC with Brian Williams last night, Tom Brokaw decreed that this will happen again and instructed us that we must meekly submit it to it:
Last night on Chris Hayes' MSNBC show, an FBI agent discussed the fact that the US government has the right to arrest terrorism suspects and not provide them with Miranda warnings before questioning them. After seeing numerous people express surprise at this claim on Twitter, I pointed out that this happened when the Obama administration exploited the attempted underwear bombing over Detroit to radically reduce Miranda rights over what they had been for decades. That's what the US government (aided by the sham "terrorism expert" industry) does in every single one of these cases: exploits the resulting fear to increase its own power and decrease everyone else's rights, including privacy.
"Everyone has to understand tonight that, beginning tomorrow morning early, there are going to be much tougher security considerations all across the country, and however exhausted we may be by that, we're going to have to learn to live with them, and get along and go forward, and not let them bring us to our knees. You'll remember last summer, how unhappy we were with the security at the Democratic and Republic conventions. Now I don't think we can raise those complaints after what happened in Boston."
At the Atlantic, security expert Bruce Schneier has a short but compelling article on how urgent it is that we not react to this Boston attack irrationally or with exaggerated fear, and that we particularly remain vigilant against government attempts to exploit fear to impose all new rights-reducing measures. He notes in particular how the more unusual an event is (such as this sort of attack on US soil), the more our brains naturally exaggerate its significance and frequency (John Cole makes a similar point).
In sum, even if the perpetrators of Monday's attack in Boston turn out to be politically motivated and subscribers to an anti-US ideology, it will still be a very rare event, one that poses far less danger to Americans than literally countless other threats. The most important lesson of the excesses arising from the 9/11 attacks should be this one: that the dangers of overreacting and succumbing to irrational fear are far, far greater than any other dangers posed by these type of events.

There are new photos released by CNN from someone in a vantage point just above where the first bomb detonated. He was taking pictures out his window of the finish line. One thing that is clear, had that bomb gone off 2 hours earlier at the end of the race, the casualty numbers would have been dramatically higher. So why would a terrorist wait til the crowd thinned out? Also, more pics of the guy in the cowboy hat but I can’t see the “wheelchair guy”

Photos of the pressure cooker bomb have been released. Yesterday I addressed the issue of the pressure cooker bomb and the coincidental MSM report just last month about the Inspire magazine booklet detailing how to make them. What a coincidence, huh?
President Obama has declared this an “act of terror” even though the FBI has no idea who did it… or why. “Any time bombs are used to target innocent civilians it is an act of terror,” . What does that make the fire bombing of Japan or Nagasaki and Hiroshima? Dresden? How about drone warfare? Does that make Barack Obama a terrorist?
The spin is already out there that this act “brings the war to the American homeland” which I am sure will certainly be followed up by the complete rejection of Posse Comitatus which just happened to be authorized by Obama signing the NDAA 2012.
The “homegrown terrorist” angle is at play already in Billionaire Bloomberg’s propaganda rag: “Someone’s “friend, neighbor or coworker” concealed bombs in two heavy, dark bags and dropped them near the Boston Marathon finish line, authorities said, as an investigation still in its early stages turned to the possibility of a homegrown terrorist.” That’s right. Get ready for midnight raids on your neighbor’s house.

I am truly surprised that most people cannot see this latest bombing in Boston Massachusetts for what it really is... A definite false flag attack to strike FEAR into the American public.... What needs to be understood is the psychology of Fear itself, and how people who are stricken by fear will want to quickly find a remedy or a solution to dispel that fear... In most cases when a general populace is stricken by fear, they turn to their own government for solutions... And unwittingly allow corrupt governments to pass horrible laws to take away their freedoms! The Israeli Mossad attacks of 9-11 was the prime example where the American people sought quick solutions to alleviate the false fear of "terrorism" by allowing their corrupt government to pass the dreadful "Patriot Acts" that stripped them of their civil liberties and freedoms....
I have been watching the BS news coming out of the Jewish controlled media over the last few days that has been using fear as a weapon against the American people over this Boston Marathon bombing. Again and again they repeat the scene of the original bombs going off during the last segment of that race, and it made me realize that the media is playing on the fear of the general public by drilling that image into their minds.....
I have had several conversations with others in this, the real truth movement, and we agree that this bombing is most probably not a Mossad operation, but shows evidence of being a domestic assault on the American public by departments within US Government itself along the lines of the OKC bombing of 1995...(CIA/FBI)... When are we going to wake up?
Will we ever be able to see how our government deliberately turns our joyous days into tragedies, and now has advanced its criminality into killing innocent people as part of a drill to show us why we have to be frisked, molested or irradiated at every public event we attend?
It's not exactly new stuff, this Boston Massacre Marathon Drill. For those who still haven't gotten the message, the Boston Police have admitted and numerous witnesses have observed that before the bombs that killed and maimed hundreds of happy observers of an innocent road race that the authorities were conducting an anti-terror drill during the race.
The bombs that went off on that sunny, happy spring afternoon prove beyond doubt — and once again, for the hundredth time — that it is our government that are the terrorists, and they're not out to protect us — they're out to kill us — and rob us and enslave us — while they demonstrate this demented need for security as they themselves create the terror.
How many recent examples do you need?
How about Sandy Hook and Aurora, two psyops that are riddled with questions the government will never answer?
We don't really know if any of those human beings the cop-controlled media said were killed were actually killed at all, but we do know that if anyone actually was killed — like Adam Lanza and his mother — they were doubtless killed by cops posing as terrorists.
We don't know if James Holmes actually killed anyone in that Colorado theater complex. We have certainly never seen him in a condition to kill a fly, never mind people. Drugged into a stupor and not permitted to explain what he knew to the public is all we've ever seen of him, with all of his history provided by our cop-friendly media.
Anybody who was killed in these so-called terror events was killed by cops, just as so many innocent people are murdered these days by these rampaging thugs in uniforms.
The so-called Sandy Hook massacre was clearly a psyop. A top ranking cop even came out and said anybody who challenges the official version of events could be put in jail, verifying the lies he was spewing. They switched the license plate on the mysterious red van and attached it to Adam Lanza's Honda. Why would they do that, except to cover up their crimes?
But this kind of deception is not exactly new stuff.
In fact, when you look closely at these phenomena — all of American history, at least throughout the 20th century and probably longer than that— is exactly the same kind of false flag operation, emotionally blackmailing the populace into something they don't want to do that is not in their best interests.
Think about this, people. Think about the string of catastrophes that have plagued the public mind and diminished the public's health in recent memory.
Hurricane Sandy? First storm you ever saw with an uncanny S-turn in the worst possible location precisely predicted five days in advance.
And then think back to Hurricane Katrina, when they had to bomb the levies to get the necessary disastrous effect.
The Gulf Oil Spill, on which the same people who run the government made billions by betting the disaster would happen.
Or the crotch bomber and the shoe bomber, and the prosecution of drugged and duped drifters that led us to getting cancer or being sexually molested at airports and other public venues.
The Boston Marathon Massacre is the next step in this adventure. Now we'll have to be groped — "to protect the public" — at every public event we attend.
We all are tempted to believe that these false flag psyop events are some kind of new phenomenon. Oh, the feckless, badly educated masses consider them to be real enough, and consequently believe what the government tells them, which makes them want to go out and shoot the nearest Muslim, or their next door neighbor who talks about the Second Amendment.
But this activity is not new. It is the essence of American history — leaders foisting a scam on all of us because they have received giant bribes to do so.
The Boston Marathon Massacre stands as merely the latest in a seemingly endless series of deceptions that stretches back through time — Aurora, Sandy Hook, and "killing" Osama bin Laden, the mere mention of whom takes us back to the granddaddy of all American political lies, the 9/11 massacre, which our government refused to let us investigate authentically because it was the trigger that led to the needless deaths of millions of people, which our government wanted to happen.
This is perhaps the most stunning example ever of cops posing as terrorists, and as we can adduce from the events on Boylston Street in Boston on Patriots Day, continues today stronger than ever.
Will we ever wake up and see the spreading scam for what it is?
When you put everything into context and take the wider view — the biotech food, the toxic geoengineering, the mind-dulling fluoride, the carcinogenic radiation, the poison medicine, the legal system that is a cross between the Mafia and an African tribe of cannibals, a school system with all the relevance of a daytime TV soap opera, and a media absolutely uncritical of our killer government, the answer is clearly no — we will not wake up, even as we know we are perishing by the minute.
"The Big Sleep" is the title of a 1939 mystery novel by Raymond Chandler and a euphemism for death. Full of characters who hide their ulterior motives and kill anyone to advance their warped goals, it is a condition that engulfs us today.
The only way the world can escape this imposed amnesia, already so well advanced throughout the world, is to immediately evict and execute all those elected officials who continue to participate in this colossally big lie, who willingly assist in this gigantic terror hoax as a way to get temporarily rich in the deepening twilight of humanity's slide toward oblivion and extinction.

"‘False-flag’ meme goes mainstream on Boston Marathon bombings
On September 11th, 2001, the US media began chanting “Bin Laden” in unison almost from the moment the attack was reported. The possibility that US government insiders had orchestrated the attack - in order to blame Muslims, launch wars on Muslim countries, and seize near-absolute power - was never mentioned.
Bin Laden's repeated statements that he deplored the 9/11 attacks, considered them un-Islamic, and suspected that American supporters of Israel were behind them failed to penetrate the corporate media bubble. When the FBI definitively stated that Bin Laden was “not wanted” for 9/11 because there was “no hard evidence” of his involvement, the media blacked out the story.
But after the Boston bombings of April 16th, 2013, even the corporate monopoly media could no longer ignore the possibility of a false-flag attack. Yahoo News asked “Who's behind the Boston Marathon bombings?” and offered 4 theories: (1) Islamic jihadists, (2) Right-wing militia types, (3) the government, and (4) a criminally-insane lone wolf.
Numbers (1), (2), and (4), of course, are the usual suspects. But including (3) “the government” on the suspects list is unprecedented for a mainstream news story reporting on a domestic terror incident.
The false-flag meme's growing prominence was underlined at Massachusetts governor Deval Patrick's press conference after the bombings. The first question for Governor Patrick came from Infowars correspondent Dan Bidondi, who asked whether the bombings were “a false-flag staged event..to take away our civil liberties.” Patrick, of course, answered “no.”
Even the Atlantic Monthly, a neocon-lite magazine associated with names like Goldberg and Hitchens, felt compelled to publish a story headlined: “What Is a 'False Flag' Attack, and What Does Boston Have to Do with This?” Amazingly, the Atlantic article stated that yes, there is historical precedent for viewing the Boston bombing as a false-flag event. The author, Philip Bump, even admitted: “If the Boston attack had been a 'false flag' attack, Gov. Patrick would have responded 'no' anyway.”
What has changed since 2001 to bring the false-flag meme into the limelight?
Short answer: The 9/11 truth movement. During the past decade, millions of activists have been working to awaken the American and global publics to the evidence that 9/11 was an American Reichstag Fire. Polls show that 36% of Americans - roughly 100 million people - think it likely that 9/11 was an inside job. Many of these truth-seekers are highly-accomplished scientists, engineers, military and intelligence officers, and other experts. Since the corporate mainstream media and the foundation-funded pseudo-alternative media have refused to report the facts about 9/11, roughly 100 million Americans consider the media moguls pathological liars. Even among the almost 200 million Americans who are not up-front 9/11 skeptics, the vague sense that something is wrong, and that the media and the politicians are lying, is widespread. A recent Pew Research poll, for example, showed that Americans' trust in government has fallen to an all-time low: Fewer than one-third of Americans trust the government, while more than two-thirds do not.
As the people lose faith in their government, and the corporate media crumbles into bankruptcy, a vibrant new independent media has sprung up on the internet. The Alex Jones media empire, which pushes the false-flag meme about as hard as it can be pushed, now reaches an estimated five to ten million people. Jeff Rense, Mike Adams, Mike Rivero, Veterans Today, American Free Press, and the foreign-run English language outlets Press TV and Russia Today also reach large and influential audiences with honest reporting about false-flag events.
Today, it isn't just a few marginalized radical intellectuals who think “false-flag” when they hear about an alleged domestic terror incident. Millions of people are sharing their suspicions about the Boston bombings on Facebook, Twitter, the blogosphere, and internet media in general.
Are they right?
Though it is too early to know for sure, the Boston bombings featured the most important telltale sign of a false-flag op: A terror drill running simultaneously, mirroring the actual attack. As Webster Tarpley has explained in his book 9/11 Synthetic Terror: Made in USA, false-flag attacks such as 9/11 and 7/7 are designed as drills that suddenly “go live.” This allows insiders to plot and execute the attacks under cover of the drills, with the “Team B” bad guys actually carrying out the attacks they were supposedly going to feign.
September 11th, 2001 had been previously designated as by far the biggest special operations day in US history, with a total of 46 pre-planned drills and exercises, including live-fly planes-into-buildings exercises, providing cover for the insider attacks. July 7th, 2005 also featured terror drills that went live. Peter Power, the UK's biggest terror consultant, admitted on live television that all of the actual bombs that devastated London that day exploded at the exact times and places envisioned in the drills.
Were the Boston bombings a drill that went live?
Mobile, Alabama TV station Local TV 15 reported:
University of Mobile’s Cross Country Coach, who was near the finish line of the Boston Marathon when a series of explosions went off, said he thought it was odd there were bomb sniffing dogs at the start and finish lines.
“They kept making announcements on the loud speaker that it was just a drill and there was nothing to worry about,” Coach Ali Stevenson told Local 15. “It seemed like there was some sort of threat, but they kept telling us it was just a drill.”
At 12:53 pm local time, the Boston Globe newspaper tweeted: “Officials: There will be a controlled explosion opposite the library within one minute as part of bomb squad activities.”
Then almost two hours later, at 2:50 p.m., bombs exploded near the finish line of the Boston Marathon, killing three people and injuring more than 100 others.
Just a coincidence? Maybe. But since all of the biggest “terror attacks” in recent US history, including the two World Trade Center bombings and the Oklahoma City bombing, have been inside jobs, and since most of the “terror plots” discovered in the US since 9/11 have been created by the FBI, we have every right to be suspicious.
Terror bombings have only one beneficiary: Governments, and the wealthy families that own them.
As Vincent Vinciguerra, one of the perpetrators of the Operation Gladio terror attacks, explained: “You had to attack civilians, the people, women, children, innocent people, unknown people far removed from any political game. The reason was quite simple: to force . . . the public to turn to the state to ask for greater security.”
Whatever the truth about the Boston bombings, it seems that the false-flag meme is infiltrating mainstream discourse. And it isn't going to go away . . . at least not until 9/11 and other false-flag crimes are solved, and effective measures instituted to protect the public against the scourge of false-flag terror.
