"New charges in bicycle accident
An unlicensed New Hampshire driver who was previously charged with driving into a group of bicyclists, killing two Massachusetts women, is facing new charges. A grand jury this month indicted Darriean Hess, 19, of Seabrook, with two charges of manslaughter and two charges of driving while intoxicated negligent homicide in the Sept. 21 crash. The Fosters Daily Democrat reported she has also been charged with negligent homicide and second-degree assault. The negligent homicide charges accuse Hess of causing the deaths of Pamela Wells of South Hamilton and Elise Bouchard of Danvers while under the influence of fentanyl, a powerful painkiller, and benzodiazepines."
