"Boston woman held without bail in assault case
A Boston woman charged with mugging an 81-year-old woman outside a Hudson pet supply store and then using the victim’s credit card to go on a shopping spree with her sister has been held without bail. Lizette Nevarez, 47, was ordered held by a judge Thursday during a hearing in Marlborough District Court, The MetroWest Daily News reported. Nevarez approached the victim in a Petco parking lot last week and made small talk before knocking her over and stealing her pocketbook, police said. The victim suffered minor injuries. Police said Nevarez then went with her sister to a Wal-Mart store where they used the victim’s credit card to buy $1,000 worth of merchandise, including a 39-inch television and an Xbox video game console."
