And the way they divert attention is by bombing Gaza!
"Israeli strike kills 3 Palestinian militants in Gaza" by Jodi Rudoren | New York Times Syndicate, March 12, 2014
JERUSALEM — An Israeli airstrike in the southeast Gaza Strip on Tuesday killed three Palestinian militants who the Israeli military said had fired a mortar at its soldiers patrolling near the border, hours after a pilotless Israeli surveillance drone crashed nearby.
The two unrelated incidents in Gaza, where an uptick in cross-border violence over the past two months has threatened a fragile cease-fire with Israel, came amid growing outrage over Monday’s fatal shooting by an Israeli soldier of a Jordanian judge of Palestinian origin.
I hardly think they are unrelated!
Even before the Gaza airstrike, Nabil Abu Rudeineh, a spokesman for President Mahmoud Abbas of the Palestinian Authority, issued a statement that condemned Israel for “a dangerous escalation that will lead to the destruction of what remains of the peace process” and could lead to “pushing toward dangerous situations that couldn’t be controlled.”
That's what Israel wants, and they don't care which neighbor they can provoke at this point.
In Jordan, several hundred protesters called for the ouster of the Israeli ambassador and the cancellation of Jordan’s 20-year-old peace treaty with Israel during a march.
That will raise alarm bells in certain places!
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel, attempting to quell the tension with Jordan, issued a statement Tuesday expressing “regret” over the killing of the judge and agreeing to establish a joint Israeli-Jordanian investigation team.
I wrote F*** YOU in the margin of my printed paper.

Could this have had something to do with it?
"Jordan’s Parliament voted unanimously to expel the Israeli ambassador and recall its own envoy on Wednesday, a day after Israeli lawmakers debated a proposal to take over a Jerusalem holy site administered by Jordanians. The vote by acclamation in Jordan’s 150-seat Parliament is not binding to the Cabinet, which is keen to maintain diplomatic ties with Israel.
Why?
Israeli lawmakers have not voted on the issue and it is unlikely to pass as the majority does not want to antagonize Muslims.
Since when? There whole usurping presence has done that for one hundred years!
Oh, right, consider the source.
The discussion was initiated by the Likud Party’s Moshe Feiglin, who proposed the Jewish state wrest control from Jordan the al-Aqsa compound housing shrines revered by Muslims. Jordan was given a ‘‘special’’ role over the area in a 1994 peace treaty with Israel."
That will inflame the region and the entire Muslim world!
And how ironic given that the U.S is citing 1994 accords in the Ukraine and Crimea regarding alleged Russian illegality.
On to other things!
"Israel displays rockets seized in Red Sea raid" by Aron Heller | AssociatedPress, March 11, 2014
EILAT, Israel — Israeli guards shot and killed a Jordanian judge who the Israelis said tried to grab a rifle from a soldier at the border crossing between the West Bank and Jordan.
The shooting took place at the Allenby crossing as the man was going from Jordan into the West Bank, the Israeli army said.

"Palestinians were infuriated by the news Tuesday that Israel’s housing minister, Uri Ariel, had initiated planning for 20,000 new settlement homes. A White House spokesman said the Obama administration was “deeply concerned” over the plan."
They said from a hilltop?
In a separate development Monday, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday triumphantly toured a display of dozens of rockets that navy commandos intercepted in the Red Sea last week, alleged to be on their way from Iran to the Gaza Strip, and accused the international community of ignoring Iranian support for militant groups and falling victim to a charm offensive by the new leadership in Tehran.
This thing is having the definite stench of an Israeli set-up or completely staged and scripted fiction, and it probably is. We have seen it all before!

"Hamas seems to have lost most of its allies. Its traditional ties with Iran, a long-time financial backer, have been strained because Hamas came out in support of rebels fighting the Iranian-backed government of Syrian President Bashar Assad."
??????
Yeah, what is Shi'ite Iran doing cooperating with Sunni Hamas?
Netanyahu’s visit to this Red Sea port capped a five-day public relations blitz aimed at persuading world powers to toughen their position in nuclear talks.
I get a newspaper every day.
So far, the international reaction has been subdued, illustrating the uphill battle the Israeli leader faces in his efforts to change the minds of world leaders about Iran’s outreach to the West.
It's subdued because the world has caught on to the Israeli cries of wolf and is sick of hearing it.
‘‘There are those who would prefer that we not hold this news conference here today, they feel uncomfortable that we show what is really happening inside Iran,’’ Netanyahu said. He spoke with a backdrop of the captured ship and the Israeli vessels involved in the operation along with the Israeli defense minister.
‘‘Iran, a brutal regime, has not abandoned its deep involvement in terrorism, its systematic efforts to undermine peace and security throughout the Middle East, and its ambition to destroy the state of Israel,’’ Netanyahu said. ‘‘What is new is not Iran’s deeds or its lies, but the desire of many in the international community to bury their heads in the sand.’’
Whenever Israel accuses anyone of something it is behavior for which they themselves are guilty. It's a axiom of truth regarding Zionism.
Netanyahu’s tough comments threatened to further strain his already tense relations with the European Union and the White House.
State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki told reporters in Washington that the United States is concerned about Iran’s support for militants but that it is still focused on resolving the nuclear issue.
Israel believes Iran is trying to build a nuclear weapon, saying a nuclear-armed Iran would pose a threat to the existence of the Jewish state, citing Iranian calls for Israel’s destruction, its development of long-range missiles, and its support for hostile militant groups on Israel’s borders. Iran denies that it is pursuing nuclear weapons.
Netanyahu has been an outspoken critic of the efforts by six world powers to negotiate a deal with Iran that would substantially scale back its nuclear program in exchange for ending international sanctions.
Meanwhile, Israel is the only regime that actually has nuclear weapons -- developed the same way they charge of the Iranians.
Since last Wednesday’s naval raid, Netanyahu has done his utmost to persuade the world that the shipment revealed the ‘‘true face’’ of Iran.

"The apparent intelligence and operational coup provided Israel’s leaders an opportunity to underscore their contentions about the true nature of the Iranian regime as world powers are engaged in talks with Iran to curb its nuclear program."
Then this whole seizure and act of piracy STINKS of a FALSE FLAG SET-UP!

As the raid was announced, the military released slick video presentations illustrating the circuitous 5,000-mile route the weapons had been meant to take — starting in Syria, then to Iran and Iraq before heading toward Sudan and overland to Gaza — along with clips showing naval commandos discovering the rockets far out at sea.
Looking more and more like contrived propaganda! Cui bono?
The government gave a hero’s welcome to the returning commandos and released more videos when the seized ship, the KLOS C, arrived in Eilat over the weekend.
Really selling it hard, huh?
To help ensure heavy coverage of Monday’s event, the government organized a special flight for the media to make the trip to Eilat, a four-hour drive along treacherous, narrow roads from Jerusalem and Tel Aviv.

"In a separate development, Israel’s military said Sunday a cargo ship it intercepted in the Red Sea last week carried 40 rockets with a range of up to 100 miles. Israel has alleged the shipment was orchestrated by Iran and was intended for Islamic militants in Gaza, a claim denied by Iran and the rockets’ purported recipients. An Egyptian security official said Sunday the rockets also might have been intended for militants in Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula, which borders Gaza. The interview with Abu Bakir gave a rare glimpse at the inner workings of Gaza’s Salafis, radical and ultraconservative Islamic groups that dream of turning Gaza into an Islamic caliphate. The groups have created a headache for Hamas. A Hamas official said there are at most dozens of Salafi fighters, while an Israeli expert on Al Qaeda, Aviv Oreg, estimated there were up to 1,000."

No mention of elections there as Hamas repelled a coup attempt.
