"Legoland announced big expansions to the Winter Haven theme park and resort Tuesday, with the goal of making the kid-centric park a major player in the Florida vacation scene. The park will add a large family resort area, night entertainment, a themed area with a ride and a 4-D theater experience. The Legoland Beach Retreat, scheduled to open in mid-2017, is an extension of the Legoland Resort, which opened in 2015. The new retreat will feature 83 single-story duplex buildings designed to look like Lego homes near Lake Dexter on the resort property."
