Marching Lock-Step Into Afghanistan

The reason it hasn't been a campaign issue, MSM press, is because YOU WON'T MAKE IT ONE!! Also because there is NO DIFFERENCE between the two candidates when it comes to MORE WAR!

Duh!

"Afghan policy is taking a back seat on the trail; Some officials push for talks with Taliban" by Bryan Bender and Michael Kranish, Globe Staff | October 31, 2008

WASHINGTON - One of the toughest decisions facing the next president is getting little attention on the campaign trail: whether to negotiate with the resurgent Taliban, the radical Afghan movement that was toppled in the US invasion in 2001 but is now waging an increasingly deadly insurgency.

While Democrat Barack Obama and Republican John McCain both call for sending thousands of more US troops to Afghanistan to turn around a war that is widely viewed as going poorly, neither has fully discussed recent suggestions from top US military officials about holding reconciliation talks with some Taliban followers.

Obama, meanwhile, recently told Time magazine that the idea of talking with some Taliban members "should be explored." In speeches this week, both candidates talked in generalities about Afghanistan, calling for more US troops in the region."

McCain went on to say that Obama opposed the surge of troops that is "bringing us victory in Iraq and will bring us victory in Afghanistan." While Obama did oppose the Iraq surge, he has called for more than 10,000 additional troops to be sent to Afghanistan, while McCain has suggested sending 15,000. The Bush administration plans to send an additional 4,000 troops early next year to aid the estimated 32,000 US troops now in the country. This week, however, US commanders called for a total increase of 20,000 troops to help improve security. --more--"

First I've seen of that in the AmeriKan MSM!!

Notice EVERYONE is talking PEACE -- EXCEPT for the U.S.!!

Oh, one more reminder:

"The U.S. government was well aware of the Taliban's reactionary program, yet it chose to back their rise to power in the mid-1990s. The creation of the Taliban was "actively encouraged by the ISI and the CIA," according to Selig Harrison, an expert on U.S. relations with Asia. "The United States encouraged Saudi Arabia and Pakistan to support the Taliban, certainly right up to their advance on Kabul," adds respected journalist Ahmed Rashid. When the Taliban took power, State Department spokesperson Glyn Davies said that he saw "nothing objectionable" in the Taliban's plans to impose strict Islamic law, and Senator Hank Brown, chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Subcommittee on the Near East and South Asia, welcomed the new regime: "The good part of what has happened is that one of the factions at last seems capable of developing a new government in Afghanistan." "The Taliban will probably develop like the Saudis. There will be Aramco [the consortium of oil companies that controlled Saudi oil], pipelines, an emir, no parliament and lots of Sharia law. We can live with that," said another U.S. diplomat in 1997."

So why did we kill so many of them, readers?

I would just like to remind you, readers, and the world that LAYING BOMBS on their HOMES and FAMILIES, the littering of DU munitions, the secret prisons, the torture, the families displaced, the lives shattered, the chemicals dumped on them, all based on a BUNCH of LIES!!!

Whatever you think of the "Taliban," they NEVER DID ANYTHING TO US!!!!

We ALL KNOW WHO REALLY DID that BLACK-BAG INSIDE JOB of 9/11, and it wasn't the tribals running around the hills avoiding US and NATO air bombs and artillery batteries!!!!

And as I have
previously noted, strange how when PEACE TALKS break out SOMETHING UNUSUAL just seems to HAPPEN, isn't it?

CUI BONO, readers?

"Suicide blast kills 5 in Afghan ministry" by Laura King, Los Angeles Times | October 31, 2008

KABUL, Afghanistan - Underscoring the deteriorating security situation in the Afghan capital, a suicide bomber managed yesterday to make his way into a heavily guarded government ministry in the city center and set off a powerful explosion. At least five other people were killed and more than a dozen people hurt.

Did they CONFIRM that "suicider" like they need to CONFIRM U.S. AIR MURDER?

No questions about the "suicider," 'eh?

The Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack.

So claims the lying, Muslim-hating, agenda-pushing, war-promoting, enemy-creating, Zionist AmeriKan MSM!

Of course, how do the TALIBAN BENEFIT from this when they are TALKING PEACE, folks? And WHO DOES BENEFIT, readers?

The scene at the Information and Culture Ministry was one of chaos after the blast, with officials shouting and police muscling bystanders away. Broken glass was sprayed onto the busy street, which is lined with shops. One side of the ministry building collapsed, and the aqua-colored front gates were bent by the force of the explosion.

Pretty POWERFUL SUICIDER, huh? What a FALSE-FLAG STINK!!!

Authorities said as many as two other assailants were believed to have taken part in the attack but apparently had escaped. The death toll provided by officials differed.

Oh, now this is REALLY SMELLING like a PILE of ZIONIST PROPAGANDA POOP!!!!!!

Witnesses and officials gave varying accounts of how the bombing unfolded. There was an exchange of gunfire at the ministry's entrance about 11 a.m., shortly before the explosion rocked its main hall, according to police. An employee of the ministry, speaking on condition of anonymity for fear of retribution by militants, said security guards shot and wounded the bomber as he was entering the building, but he managed to set off his explosives.

Yup, I am smelling SOMETHING RANCID emanating from my Zionist War Daily!!!

All lies, all the time!!!!.

It was not clear how the armed attackers managed to approach the building. --more--"
