I knew the MSM was pushing this story for a reason.

"Wild fire danger on rise in Australia; Farms, forests becoming drier as planet heats up" by Rohan Sullivan, Associated Press | February 11, 2009

SYDNEY - Australia may be getting a glimpse of its globally warmed future.

Specialists agreed yesterday that no one drought, flood, or wildfire can be attributed to global warming, but they stressed that the eucalyptus forest and farms of southeastern Australia are becoming warmer, drier and more prone to fire as the planet heats up.

I'm sick of it, sick of it, sick of it!!

Btw, they said the temperatures would be hitting 50 today, and I'm looking at the thermometer right at mid-day: 42-degrees! That is FORTY-TWO DEGREES!

Bugger off, you damn liars!

Some say rising temperatures are making Australia's climate more extreme at the edges. Snow will disappear from the few mountains that still have it, the cyclones that batter the tropical north could get more powerful and the conditions that set the southeast ablaze could become common.

This is SUCH BULLS***!!!

This PROVES that EVERYTHING THEY "report" is DISTORTED by AGENDA-PUSHING BIAS or an OUTRIGHT LIE!!!!!!!

"The terrible events of the past couple of weeks are, without doubt, partly the result of global warming and the greenhouse effect," said Neville Nicholls, a specialist on climate change and wildfires at Australia's Monash University.

Yeah, right! That's why the AUSTRALIANS have been blaming ARSONISTS!!!!!!!!

Global warming cannot be blamed for starting the hundreds of recent fires - tens of thousands of such blazes erupt across Australia every fire season, from October to March - but the effects of climate change exacerbated their ferocity, Nicholls said.

They are just as arrogant a bunch of liars as the Zionists! Always a BUT!!!!!!!!

First, a decade of drought has made Australia's wild forests - known as the bush - tinder dry. Second, a sustained and record-breaking heat wave settled over the region. Lastly, record-smashing temperatures on Saturday topped 117 degrees Fahrenheit and combined with winds up to 60 miles per hour to whip fires into furnace-like intensity.

The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, the Nobel Prize-winning team of scientists responsible for advising the United Nations about global warming, says the rise in the atmosphere's temperature could cause water shortages, crop failures, more deaths from heat waves, and more severe storms around the world.

PFFFFFTT! EVERYONE KNOWS they are a FRAUD NOW!!!

And the ESCALATING SCREECHES of OUTRAGEOUS LIES PROVES IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also see: Rock the Truth: Environment

In Australia, it means more droughts in the dry south and more flooding in the tropical north. The Great Barrier Reef, the world's largest coral reef system, is in trouble....

You know, that's odd because I went outside this morning and the sky was still standing.

Even as southeastern Australia sweltered and the fires raged this week, some 60 percent of northeastern Queensland state was covered by floodwaters after weeks of drenching rain from a dying offshore cyclone.

Sigh! I hate the AmeriKan MSM! I hate them now.

Yeah, the SELECTIVE FOCUS is GREAT, you censoring, obfuscating assh.....

While scientists cautioned against attributing the wildfires to global warming, they said changing conditions from rising temperatures are having an impact....

Yeah, well, whatever you do, don't tell the kid!

Of course, then REALITY is BURIED at the bottom of page B3!!!!!

"Maine hits record low in winter's deepest bite

Maine recorded its coldest temperature ever - a frigid 50 degrees below zero - when a blast of Arctic air hit New England last month. That tied a 1933 thermometer reading in Bloomfield, Vt., for the coldest recorded temperature in New England history.

During GLOBAL WARMING, can you believe it? Pfffft!

"It's a big wow," said Tony Sturey, a meteorologist at the National Weather Service office in Caribou, Maine, near where the temperature was recorded on Jan. 16. "It's an incredible number, an insanely cold number."

The lowest temperature ever recorded in the United States - minus 80 degrees Fahrenheit - was reached in January 1971 in Alaska. In the continental United States, the record low is 70 below, measured in January 1954 in Montana. Maine's previous record of 48 degrees below was measured in 1925 in Van Buren, also in mid-January.

Looks like NATURAL CYCLES to ME!!!!

This January was colder than usual in many parts of New England. The low temperature was recorded between 7 and 7:30 a.m. along the Big Black River near Depot Mountain in northwestern Maine, after a mass of Arctic air plunged into Alaska and northern Canada, and traveled eastward into New England.

Yeah, WE KNOW!!!!!

"This month's temperatures are running 3 to 4 degrees colder than normal.... Temperatures this frigid month are also well below the January average of 29.3 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. On many days the temperature plummeted more than 15 degrees below the historical average for that day"

I guess that explains the ARCTIC BIRDS setting up shop in Massachusetts, huh?

Residents of Northern Maine are accustomed to temperatures fit for a penguin. Still, no matter how predictable, the cold comes with a price, said Steven R. Buck, city manager for Caribou, a town of about 8,000 near Big Black River.

So do LIES!!!!

"When we see noontime highs of 10 or 15 below zero, that really takes a toll on the heating bill," he said.

That's GLOBAL WARMING for YOU, pfffffffffffttttt!!!!!!!
