"Leominster graduate dies in Iraq bombing" by Milton J. Valencia, Globe Staff | February 11, 2009

A Leominster man was one of four Army soldiers killed by a suicide car bomber Monday near Mosul, Iraq, the soldier's family said yesterday.

Jonathan Roberge, 22, was on patrol in a Humvee during the attack. He had graduated from Leominster High School's Center for Technical Education in 2005.

Family members confirmed they were notified by the Army of his death Monday night but said they were too distraught to comment. City officials said they will wait until the Army officially announces the soldier's death before commenting....

I guess he wanted to be there, so my empathy wanes a bit.

How many innocent Muslims are being sacrificed for this damnable lie?

Roberge joined the Army in January 2008 and became a tank driver. He was deployed to Iraq in December. He is the first soldier from Leominster to die in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, according to the state Department of Veterans Services.

He leaves his parents, two younger sisters, and a younger brother....

Roberge's mother works at the school and one of his sisters is a student....

"He made the ultimate sacrifice so we can all live in freedom," one family member wrote on a memorial site on Facebook, an online social networking site. "If you knew Jonathan, you knew how great of a person he was and how genuine his smile was."

Lying about weapons of mass destruction so you can invade and occupy a nation for its resources is so "we can all live in freedom," huh?
