SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. - The 3-year-old boy abducted from his family by gunmen almost two weeks ago was.... found wandering the streets of a Mexican border town alone.
No ransom?
FBI agents went to Mexicali to handle immigration paperwork for the boy, who holds dual US and Mexican citizenship. The agents then brought him across the border, where he was reunited with his mother.... an illegal immigrant in the United States....
Laws really mean nothing here, do they?
Federal and local investigators have said they were looking at several theories for the abduction, including one that the Spanish-speaking kidnappers were from Mexico and may have had ties to organized crime there....
