"Mass. getting weatherization funds" by Erin Ailworth, Globe Staff | July 8, 2009

Massachusetts will get nearly $49 million in federal recovery funds to expand weatherization programs throughout the state, officials said yesterday. The money is expected to help the state reach a goal of weatherizing more than 16,900 homes over the next three years, making the homes more energy efficient.

Just an EXCUSE to GET in the DOOR -- you know, like a VAMPIRE!

In total, Massachusetts is now on tap to get $122 million in federal weatherization funding, according to a statement sent out by the Executive Office of Housing and Economic Development. The money will be doled out by the state’s Department of Housing and Community Development, which has set aside additional millions to help weatherize nearly 4,000 units in state-assisted public housing developments.

Because YOU are AT THEIR MERCY!

You DON'T LIKE the INFRINGEMENT on your rights?

Then GEEEET OUUT!

Such projects are part of the governor’s push to make the state more energy efficient, thus helping consumers lower their utility bills and possibly creating jobs.

I'm SO SICK of s***-ass PROMISES and LIES!!!!

"Here is the deal.

The US has lost its manufacturing, so the government is going to "create jobs" by pouring tons of gratuitous regulatory compliance on us all, to justify hiring inspectors at taxpayer expense who will in turn force us to purchase improvements to our homes. Everybody works!!!!!

But here is where the "solution" breaks down. Where is the money coming to PAY for all this regulatory compliance? The government is still acting as if they believe there are vast sums of cash floating around out here in the real world, and that saving the economy is simply a matter of taking it away from all of us

"Green Stimulus Money Costs More Jobs Than It Creates, Study Shows

Every “green job” created with government money in Spain over the last eight years came at the cost of 2.2 regular jobs, and only one in 10 of the newly created green jobs became a permanent job, says a new study released this month. The study draws parallels with the green jobs programs of the Obama administration. President Obama, in fact, has used Spain’s green initiative as a blueprint for how the United States should use federal funds to stimulate the economy. Obama's economic stimulus package, which Congress passed in February, allocates billions of dollars to the green jobs industry."

I have often noticed the disparity between the TENS of THOUSANDS of JOBS we are SHEDDING with the GREEN PROMISE of HUNDREDS!!!

And yet, HERE it is AGAIN in my AGENDA-PUSHING, ECONOMY-DESTROYING paper!
