African Safari: She's No Bill Clinton!

I'm not in the habit of defending Hitlery; however, I can understand the irritation here.

"‘My husband is not secretary of state. I am’" by Associated Press | August 11, 2009

KINSHASA, Democratic Republic of Congo - Hillary Rodham Clinton has a message for the world: It’s not all about Bill.

The secretary of state bristled yesterday when - as she heard it - a Congolese university student asked what her husband thought about an international financial matter.

She hadn’t traveled to Africa to talk about her husband the ex-president. But even there, she couldn’t escape his outsized shadow.

She abruptly reclaimed the stage for herself.

“My husband is not secretary of state. I am,’’ she snapped.

Watch it for yourself:

"Our wacko Secretary of State

That was a less than diplomatic reason.

Clinton’s presence, so bold in her historic presidential candidacy against Barack Obama, has sometimes been hard to see in the months she’s served as the face and voice of US foreign policy.

The president’s ambitious travels have overshadowed her, heavyweight special envoys have been assigned to the world’s critical hotspots, Vice President Joe Biden has taken on assignments abroad - and then last week her husband succeeded in a North Korean mission to free two journalists as she landed in Africa on a seven-nation trip.

“You want me to tell you what my husband thinks?’’ she asked incredulously when the student raised a question about a multibillion-dollar Chinese loan offer to Congo.

“If you want my opinion, I will tell you my opinion,’’ she said. “I am not going to be channeling my husband.’’

The moderator quickly moved on.

State Department officials said the student approached Clinton afterward and told her he had meant to ask what Obama, not Bill Clinton, thought about the Chinese loan. It was unclear whether the French-speaking student or translator had erred.

Oh, right, it was an ERROR in TRANSLATION!

Of course, the NEWSPAPERS ARE NOT HELPING HER!

NEW YORK - .... Secretary of State Clinton, however, bristled with anger earlier this week when a young man in the Democratic Republic of Congo asked her about her husband’s thinking.

“Wait, you want me to tell you what my husband thinks? My husband is not the secretary of state. I am,’’ a visibly angry Clinton told the crowd. “You ask my opinion, I’ll tell you my opinion. I’m not going to be channeling my husband.’’

The State Department said the translator might have mangled the question, making it a query about Bill Clinton instead of Obama.

Bill Clinton brushed aside a question about his wife’s comment, saying that “she’s had an amazing trip,’’ had done great work in Africa, and “America should be grateful for this.’’ But Hillary Clinton’s reaction underscored the rivalry that perhaps inevitably surfaces in such a high-powered couple.

I thought they were ON THE SAME SIDE?

And how about the ARROGANCE, huh?

We should be GRATEFUL for this beeach!

Bill Clinton’s involvement with the Obama administration also indicates that the two men have reached a rapprochement since the campaign....

Bill Clinton has returned to the public spotlight. And his resurgence is not limited to his high-profile diplomatic mission last week to secure the release of two journalists from North Korea.

So WHOSE HELPING HIM at the EXPENSE of his wife, MSM?

In subsequent days, he joined drug company executives to announce a deal to provide lower-cost AIDS and tuberculosis drugs to patients in developing countries. He appeared in Las Vegas with two Obama administration Cabinet secretaries, making the case for clean energy policy. Then, on Thursday night, Clinton headed to Pittsburgh to talk to liberal bloggers and defend Obama against “crazy’’ accusations about the Democratic health care proposal.

For the first time since Barack Obama’s election, Clinton is prominently working for a president with whom he had a testy relationship during the campaign.

“I just do what I’m asked to do,’’ Clinton told the Globe in a brief interview....

Or what he is ORDERED TO DO by his GLOBALIST, ZIONIST MASTERS!

Former presidents have tended to fall into two categories - those who make speeches for big checks, and those who get involved in charity work or public policy advocacy, as Jimmy Carter has done.

The ONLY GOOD EX-PRESIDENT!

But Clinton occupies his own, unique category: a former president who does both - and also loves being in the spotlight, enjoys widespread popularity overseas, and whose wife just happens to be secretary of state....

I can see Hitlery getting pissed just reading this!

Sandy Berger, who served as Clinton’s national security adviser, said the former president’s “enormous stature and gravitas and experience’’ were too valuable to be unused.

“I think he’s fashioning a postpresidency that is quite extraordinary and might turn out to be as much of a legacy as his presidency,’’ Berger said....

You know, the same guy who stole classified documents from the government by stuffing them down his pants.

“This is my life now,’’ Clinton said.... “And I love it.’’

Yup, he LOVES BEING a TOOL of the GLOBALISTS!

The world's love for him makes me sick!

So what is Big Bill up to these days?

"Bill Clinton to lead trade mission to Haiti" by Reuters | August 10, 2009

The AFRICA of the WESTERN HEMISPHERE, why not?!

I notice this is about the only time Haiti ever gets any coverage in my newspaper -- when a Clinton goes there!

MIAMI - Former US president Bill Clinton said yesterday he would lead an international trade mission of private investors to Haiti in October to pursue energy and other development amid signs the nation is stabilizing.

If you consider wretched poverty stabilizing.

Clinton burnished his credentials as an elder statesman last week when he visited North Korea to retrieve two American journalists....

See: Korea, Kenya, and the Clintons

In his first major address to the Haitian Diaspora since becoming United Nations special envoy to Haiti, Clinton said stability had improved in the troubled Caribbean nation, providing new opportunity for foreign investment. “I think we are really on the verge of being able to make some significant changes,’’ Clinton said.

Clinton said his investor mission would focus on agriculture, construction, textiles, and energy, citing examples that ranged from increasing Haiti’s mango exports to developing affordable fuel.

Electric power is scarce in rural areas and the cutting of trees to make charcoal has led to deforestation in Haiti. As an example of projects rife for further investment, Clinton described a recycling program that turns paper and sawdust waste into cooking fuel that sells for one-fifth the cost of charcoal.

Maybe Bill had a dirt cookie while he was there, huh?

Clinton also promised to “hector every last dime’’ out of donor nations that had yet to deliver money they pledged for Haiti.

Here are some suggestions as a start: Globalist Bankers Getting Their Pound of Flesh From Starving Haitians

I'll bet Haitians could use $1 million a week more than the banks, 'eh?

Maybe you could invite the Haitians for lunch at the U.N., Bill:

"Every table was set with a single fresh rose (from the rose gardens outside, I was told) and a full complement of three forks, two knives, and two spoons in silver plate..... The buffet tables could have graced a high-end ocean liner. I watched a gentleman in colorful African garb pile his plate with slices of roast sirloin and potatoes mashed with feta cheese. A post-retirement-age couple from the East Side scarfed up most of the egg rolls, though more came out quickly....

I made for the roast leg of lamb with rosemary sauce after I filled my salad plate with chilled asparagus and slices of a duck and pork terrine.... fresh tomato soup and bowls of pasta primavera.... The dessert buffet table practically groaned under a spread of apple and pumpkin pies, cheesecakes, tarts, half a dozen cheeses, sliced fruits, bowls of berries, and, off to one side, three urns of ice cream"

Wow, nice spread!
