A Comcast Economy

"people have opted to stay in to watch TV instead of going out"

So what are YOU WATCHING, America?

"Comcast explores a stake in NBC; GE, largest cable provider in talks" by Deborah Yao, Associated Press | October 2, 2009

PHILADELPHIA - .... Most of them have suffered during the recession, with a sharp decline in advertising revenue.

I'm really sick of hearing lying s*** MSM cry poverty!

DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT and START TELLING the TRUTH!!

The NBC network also is in fourth place in the ratings, which spurred its decision to move Jay Leno into prime time.

Yeah, that hasn't helped because my friend never watches Leno now and he detests Conan.

Meanwhile, Universal Pictures has seen mixed box office results, and attendance at Universal theme parks is down....

Which is odd because I was told
Hollywood did pretty good!

The recession hasn’t been as tough on Comcast, in part because people have opted to stay in to watch TV instead of going out. Comcast’s balance sheet showed $4 billion in cash and cash equivalents as of June 30.

Think they could lower the rates a bit?

Time to take a break and watch some tube.
