"Southern border deaths expected to rise" by Associated press | October 3, 2009
PHOENIX - The number of immigrants who died while sneaking across America’s southern border in the last 12 months is expected to surpass the previous year’s total, even as fewer people are getting caught entering the country illegally....
But it is the pro-illegal crowd like the Boston Globe that supports them. People that are opposed to globalization, and thus for local economies are the racist demons, yup! Pffft!
And what about this strange case?
"We need to get the word out to our immigrant communities. Anybody that claims they are from federal law enforcement agencies, you have the right and you should ask for photo identification."
So let me get this straight: the illegal doesn't have to have any id, but the US agent does?

Folks, I AGREE the POLICE SHOULD ALWAYS IDENTIFY, but isn't there something backwards about what was said?
"Kidnapped newborn found safe, woman is charged; No word on motive in case, authorities say" by Lucas L. Johnson II, Associated Press | October 4, 2009
NASHVILLE - Cathy Nahirny, a senior analyst for infant abduction cases at the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, said there have been at least two other recent cases where an abductor used a ploy similar to the one used in this case.
“We need to get the word out to our immigrant communities,’’ Nahirny said. “Anybody that claims they are from federal law enforcement agencies, you have the right and you should ask for photo identification.’’
The point is emphasized two days in a row?
Abductions of infants by strangers are rare, with only nine reported cases so far this year and five last year, according to the missing child center. Nahirny said immigrant families have been targets of child abductions because of the assumption they will not tell police. Maria Gurrolla is Latina but her immigration status isn’t clear. She was released from the hospital Thursday....

Is that why the state took the baby?????
"Baby in state custody for safety reasons" by Associated Press | October 5, 2009
NASHVILLE - Rob Johnson, a spokesman for the Tennessee Department of Children’s Services, said the children were taken from their mother, Maria Gurrolla, “purely for safety reasons,’’ though he would not detail why they were in danger....
--more--""What is going on here (and everywhere) is very simple. A lot of government agencies see the budget axe headed their way and are doing any and everything they can to justify their continued funding and existence. Just as professional witch hunters n the middle ages saw witches everywhere, social services paid to find child abuse will see abused children even where they, may not really exist. This practice by government agencies to create the justification for their continued existence, left unchecked, leads to events like the siege and murder of the Branch Davidians at Waco (which was initially justified in part because of allegations of child endangerment)." --Wake the Flock Up
