"Iran agrees to nuclear inspection date; ElBaradei calls it a shift from confrontation" by Jeffrey Fleishman, Los Angeles Times | October 5, 2009

TEHRAN, Iran - Saying Iran appeared to be moving away from confrontation with the West, the head of the United Nations nuclear enforcement agency announced yesterday that Tehran had agreed to a date this month for international inspectors to visit what until recently had been a covert underground uranium enrichment plant.

As USrael moves toward it.

And the thing isn't even going to be up and running for a year, so bugger off, MSM!

Oh, yeah, before I forget:

Israel is getting desperate to sell this new war for Americans to be killed and crippled in.

Here is a recap of what they are trying to make you forget.

1. Last Spring, Rose Gottemoeller, an assistant secretary of state and Washington's chief nuclear arms negotiator, asked Israel to sign the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. Israel refused.

2. The United Nations passed a resolution calling on Israel to sign the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and to submit to inspections. Israel refused.

3. The IAEA asked Israel to sign the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and to submit to inspections. Israel refused.

4. Iran's formal notification to the IAEA of the planned construction of the backup fuel-rod facility underscores that Iran is playing by the rules of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty which Iran has signed.

5. Iran allows IAEA inspections of all its facilities.

6. Contrary to face-saving claims, it appears that the US and Israel were both caught off guard by Iran's announcement. The reasoning is simple. Had the US or Israel announced the existence of he new facility before Iran's notified the IAEA, it would have put Iran on the defensive. As it is now, the US and Israel seem to be playing catch up, casting doubt on the veracity of Israel's claims to "know" that Iran is a nuclear threat.

7. The IAEA and all 16 United States Intelligence Agencies are unanimous in agreement that Iran is not building and does not possess nuclear weapons.

8. In 1986, Mordachai Vanunu blew the whistle and provided photographs showing Israel's clandestine nuclear weapons factory underneath the reactor at Dimona.

9. Israel made the same accusations against Iraq that it is making against Iran, leading up to Israel's bombing of the power station at Osirik. Following the invasion of 2003, international experts examined the ruins of the power station at Osirik and found no evidence of a clandestine weapons factory in the rubble.

10. The United Nations has just released the Goldstone Report, a scathing report which accuses Israel of 37 specific war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza earlier this year. Israel has denounced the report as "Anti-Semitic (even though Judge Goldstone is himself Jewish), and the United States will block the report from being referred to the War Crimes Tribunal at the Hague, thereby making the US Government an accessory after-the-fact.

We all need to be Joe Wilson right now. We need to stand up and scream, "LIAR!" at every politician and every talking media moron that is pushing this war in Iran. And we need to keep dong it until they get the message that we will not be deceived any more.

Israel wants to send your kids off to die in Iran, and YOU are the only one that can stop them.

Thank you.

The decision to open the plant to outside scrutiny on Oct. 25 was a concession by Tehran to defuse Western criticism over the intent and scope of Iran’s nuclear program....

Yeah, SOMETHING YOU NEVER GET or SEE from that ABOMINABLE little NUCLEAR-ARMED STINK STATE next door!!!!

“I see that we are shifting gears from confrontation into transparency and cooperation,’’ said Mohamed ElBaradei, director of the IAEA who arrived in Tehran on Saturday for talks in what he characterized as a critical moment....

Did he really or is that more propaganda?

ElBaradei spoke at a news conference with Ali Akbar Salehi, the head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization. Their appearance together came after a week of public condemnations and closed-door diplomacy over the Fordu uranium enrichment plant being built beneath the mountains near the city of Qom. The UN says Iran violated international law by not notifying the IAEA when construction started more than three years ago....

Iran’s contention was that disclosure of the Fordu plant was not required until at least six months before nuclear materials were moved into the facility....

The discrepancy centers on a change in transparency guidelines that UN officials say Iran has ignored. The United States, France, and Britain have charged that Iran kept the plant a secret to deceive inspectors of its goal to build nuclear weapons....

Then WHY WOULD THEY REVEAL IT, ding-dongs?!!!

Notice how ISRAEL is STRANGELY LEFT OUT of that mix, especially since this is all being done at their insistence -- never mind THEIR FLOUTING of UN INSPECTIONS and SECRET WORK!!?

Oh, right!

Tehran has repeatedly misled inspectors and brushed aside UN orders that it stop enriching uranium. ElBaradei said, however, that there is “no concrete proof’’ Iran has an ongoing weapons program. “There are allegations that Iran has conducted weaponization studies,’’ he said. “These are issues that we are still looking into.’’

Negotiations with ElBaradei played into the monthslong conflict between the hard-line government of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and the opposition movement led by Mir Hossein Mousavi and other reformers.

Oh, I love this bit of lying propaganda (read next sentence)!!

The opposition, which seeks closer relations with the West, supports the country’s nuclear program but blames the government for mismanagement and needlessly drawing threats of new sanctions from the United States and Europe.

Yeah, ALL IRANIANS SUPPORT their OWN INDEPENDENCE, how about that -- even our CIA assets, tools, agents, what have you!!!!

Of course, the US IS NOT LISTENING because IT NEVER DOES when it comes to PEACE!

"New sanctions against Iran possible, US says" by Jim Abrams, Associated Press | October 7, 2009

WASHINGTON - Administration officials told impatient lawmakers yesterday that they are ready to take swift and substantial action against Iran....

That will happen with Israel's Zionist hand up your ass and grasping your throat.

Isn't this how we got into the IRAQ DEBACLE, shit heads?

At a Senate Banking Committee hearing, lawmakers expressed skepticism that Iran would negotiate in good faith.

Yeah, PREJUDGE the OUTCOME and TAG IRAN with ZIONIST BEHAVIOR! Yeah, way to go, Congress!!!! What a shit stain on the American landscape they are!

They said they would not wait long before acting on legislation to impose tough new sanctions on the Tehran government. Banking Committee chairman Chris Dodd, Democrat of Connecticut, said he planned to move forward this month on a proposal to extend restrictions on financial transactions, impose new sanctions on oil and gas pipelines and tankers, restrict exports of certain refined petroleum products to Iran, and impose a broad ban on imports from Iran.

First of all, THOSE ARE ACTS of WAR!!!! Yeah, let's shut down the Straight of Hormuz and start gasping for oil as the dollar crashes.

And ISN'T IT Crook Dodd???!!!

And WTF are we doing getting IMPORTS from IRAN?

Then CALL OFF the DAMN WAR, dicks!!!!!!!!!!!

James Steinberg, deputy secretary of state, told the hearing that the administration was “realistic’’ about prospects for engaging with the Iranian government. But he said the current dual-track strategy of diplomatic talks with the threat of punitive action was helping develop a strong consensus within the international community if the talks falter. He said it would be clear by the end of this month whether Iran is serious about meeting two specific commitments: providing access to the newly revealed nuclear facility and shipping low enriched uranium out of the country. “Our patience is not unlimited,’’ he added.

Any questions?

Undersecretary of the Treasury Stuart Levey told the panel that with targeted sanctions backed by a broad coalition of governments, “we can at the very least demonstrate to the Iranian government that there are serious costs to any continued refusal to cooperate with the international community.’’

You won't be getting that, fool, because of Russia and China -- and maybe that is the whole point, huh?

International concerns about Iran’s nuclear work grew yesterday with an Iranian newspaper report that the country plans to install a more advanced type of centrifuge at its newly revealed uranium enrichment site near the holy city of Qom. Iran insists its enrichment work is only meant for use in generating power.

But we don't really believe that hear at the agenda-pushing, war-promoting, AmeriKan MSM so we'd rather shovel s***.
