The New Lies of the New Year

Same as the OLD LIES!!!

I gave them ONE MORE CHANCE, readers, because THAT is the KIND of GUY I AM! You ALWAYS have a chance at REDEMPTION with me if you JUST START TELLING the TRUTH!!

Why am I totally unsurprised that the Boston Globe failed again?

"Flakes add a First Night sparkle; Many ringing in 2010 say dusting enhances the fun" by Milton J. Valencia and Emma R. Stickgold, Globe Staff | Globe Correspondent | January 1, 2010

A graceful dusting of snow helped ring in the new year....

Global warming, global warming, global warming, global warming....

Across the state New Year’s Eve brought similar jubilation. In Northampton, residents tried to ease their minds from a series of arsons by celebrating with fireworks and dances. Thousands toasted the new year in Worcester....

Related: Hothampton

So all that photo-op political hullabaloo was JUST THAT, huh?

Yup, gonna get him, yup!

Yesterday’s sleet and snow did nothing but accentuate the feel of a true winter’s night, as temperatures in Boston settled to comfortable low 30s....

Sigh.

What is with the INSULTING STYLE, Globe?

Yeah, COMFORTABLY FREEZING!!!

I mean, do you have to WRITE EVERYTHING with such AGENDA-PUSHING SKEW?!

Last night’s upbeat celebration contrasted with the drowsy festivities of last year, soured by frigid temperatures and storms throughout the night....

Yeah, I and my BACK remember!!

Of course, none of this clicks off the s***-throwing switch in the BG reporter's crap-cooking account.

The day’s quick two-inch snowfall caused brief fears of transportation chaos. Roads were slick, leading to scattered accidents throughout the day, state and local police reported.

Well, THAT is what happens when you base SNOW REMOVAL BUDGETS on a LIE!!!

The soggy conditions turned the Common into a mess of mush and puddles. But the muck couldn’t keep people away....

I'm SO SICK of seeing those BAD WORDS in my "news reports."

You mean they were not inside watching
football?

"Time Warner gets a little more time; Fox extends talks in cable dispute" by Ryan Nakashima, Associated Press | January 1, 2010

LOS ANGELES - The Fox television network allowed its broadcast signal to be carried by Time Warner Cable after a brief extension past a midnight deadline was granted as talks over fees continued.

Time Warner Cable Inc. made the announcement as the clock rolled past midnight.

The extension for just a few hours made it appear likely that a deal would be reached so that viewers would not lose access to highly anticipated programs like today’s Sugar Bowl between the Florida Gators and the Cincinnati Bearcats and other football games.

Fox had threatened to pull the signal from 14 TV stations it owns, a move that would have affected more than 6 million customers of Time Warner Cable and Bright House Networks in markets such as New York, Los Angeles, and Orlando, Fla. The dispute focuses on how much Fox is paid by cable companies to retransmit those stations’ signals.

Six Fox cable channels including FX, Speed, and Fuel, were still distributed as carriage arrangements on those did not expire until midnight Pacific time. Time Warner Cable and a smaller cable TV operator, Bright House Networks, have resisted paying a new $1 monthly fee per subscriber that News Corp. is demanding from both operators.

Who won the games?

How would I know, and who cares?

Oh, yeah, and I will never believe a MSM poll or their reporting of it ever again, either:

"Despite nation’s woes, poll finds a hopeful tone" by Charles Babington, Associated Press | January 1, 2010

WASHINGTON - The bank account is thin, but the future looks pretty good. That is the view of many Americans who predict 2010 will be a better year, even if they fear the economy and their financial circumstances won’t improve.

So says the lying, agenda-pushing MSM.

They are truly beyond f***ing belief!

Eighty-two percent are optimistic about what the new year will bring, according to the latest AP-GfK poll. That sunny outlook seems at odds with other findings....

Translation: This PoS poll is a f***ing lie.

Sigh.

How many lies before a camel's back breaks?

Americans are not optimistic about the nation’s two wars. Thirty-one percent think the situation in Afghanistan will get better, while 67 percent think it will stay the same or get worse. The results were about the same for Iraq....

Yeah, we feel that way because WE WANT OUT!!!! NOW!!!

And NOTHING LESS than the ENDING of these damn things is going to satisfy us NO MATTER HOW MANY FALSE-FLAG TERROR FRAUDS they send at us!!

It is NO LONGER WORKING, MSM!! Get a FRIKKIN' CLUE!

Don't the $$$$ signs speak TRUTH to you?

Behind the gloominess, however, are more hopeful views that seem to reflect optimism or, perhaps, wishful thinking....

Yeah, WHY NOT TOSS out some INSULTS while you are at it?

Goodbye, Glob. I am WEARY of eating your agenda-pushing s*** every morning.
