The Official History of the Kennedy Presidency

You aren't going to get the TRUTH from the AmeriKan newspapers or the "History Channel," that's for sure!!!

What a PIECE of AGENDA-PUSHING GARBAGE that channel is -- from the Armageddon, Nostradamus, and Bible Code(!) shit to the 9/11 hit jobs and the "no people planet" special.

What a bunch of AGENDA-PUSHING PROPAGANDISTS over their at the "history" channel.

And AmeriKa thinks that stuff is real??

"‘Kennedys’ miniseries ignites a storm" by New York Times | February 17, 2010

I should have known.

NEW YORK - A miniseries about John F. Kennedy’s presidency being prepared by the History channel does not have a cast or a premiere date. Not a frame has been shot. It does, however, have prominent critics who want it halted....

“The Kennedys’’ is the brainchild of Joel Surnow, a creator of the Fox action show “24’’ and an outspoken conservative. That raised alarms among Kennedy partisans when the History channel said in December that it would pick up the project.

Sigh.

Now, a documentary filmmaker who makes no secret of his liberal politics is releasing an Internet video in which Kennedy scholars say the scripts offer a portrait of the president and his family that is at best inaccurate and at worst a hatchet job....

That's the AmeriKan MSM all over!

That's the "liberal" media bias?

Greenwald has an axe to grind?

They also say the scripts invent scenes, like an exchange that suggests Kennedy came up with the idea for the Berlin Wall....

Like he would be in favor of Israel's apartheid wall and not against their bomb, huh?

Oh, man, what a PIECE of AGENDA-PUSHING PROPAGANDA and GARBAGE!

I won't be watching.

Filmmaker Robert Greenwald hopes his 13-minute video and petition, at stopkennedysmears.com, will take on lives of their own.

I leave that link in so you can go see for yourselves, readers.

A title card at the film’s conclusion reads: “Tell the History Channel I refuse to watch right-wing character assassination masquerading as ‘history.’ ’’

Not only that, I DON'T WATCH any of their SLOP anymore.

*************

Surnow is an Emmy-winning producer and friend of Rush Limbaugh. Greenwald is founder of the advocacy media company Brave New Films and has created documentaries like “Iraq for Sale: The War Profiteers.’’

Like Fox isn't advocacy journalism (what AmeriKan MSM isn't, readers; always pushing the agenda).

Translation: Greenwald makes good films, the other guy crap.

FLASHBACKS:

"Our most basic common link is that we all inhabit this small planet... we all breathe the same air... we all cherish our children's futures... and we are all mortal." -- JFK, at American University, 1963

That is why they cut him down!

"Commencement Address at American University in Washington, June 10, 1963

.... I have, therefore, chosen this time and this place to discuss a topic on which ignorance too often abounds and the truth is too rarely perceived -- yet it is the most important topic on earth: world peace.

What kind of peace do I mean? What kind of peace do we seek? Not a Pax Americana enforced on the world by American weapons of war. Not the peace of the grave or the security of the slave. I am talking about genuine peace, the kind of peace that makes life on earth worth living, the kind that enables men and nations to grow and to hope and to build a better life for their children -- not merely peace for Americans but peace for all men and women -- not merely peace in our time but peace for all time. I speak of peace because of the new face of war. Total war makes no sense in an age when great powers can maintain large and relatively invulnerable nuclear forces and refuse to surrender without resort to those forces. It makes no sense in an age when a single nuclear weapon contains almost ten times the explosive force delivered by 11 of the Allied air forces in the Second World War. It makes no sense in an age when the deadly poisons produced by a nuclear exchange would be carried by wind and water and soil and seed to the far corners of the globe and to generations yet unborn.

Today the expenditure of billions of dollars every year on weapons acquired for the purpose of making sure we never need to use the is essential to keeping the peace. But surely the acquisition of such idle stockpiles -- which can only destroy and never create -- is not the only, much less the most efficient, means of assuring peace.

I speak of peace, therefore, as the necessary rational end of rational men. I realize that the pursuit of peace is not as dramatic as the pursuit of war -- and frequently the words of the pursuer fall on deaf ears. But we have no more urgent task....

Let us reexamine our attitude toward the Soviet Union.... No government or social system is so evil that its people must be considered as lacking in virtue.... For, in the final analysis, our most basic common link is that we all inhabit this small planet. We all breathe the same air. We all cherish our children's future. And we are all mortal.

Yeah, no one who even comes close to the two brothers.

(Blog editor's confession:

It is very difficult these days for me to see or even think about JFK and RFK without water filling the eyes. It's happening now as I type.

When you learn the
truth behind the murder and the forces that wanted him eliminated, you come to appreciate the incredible braveness and greatness of the man.

I could care less about the sex stuff; I'm glad he was a healthy man in that regard since he suffered so much physical pain -- something that connected him to us in a way that is alien to most elites.

I'm actually so choked up I can't even think of anything to type.
The water flows because JFK was a man who stood up for what was right and just -- and they took his head off for it. Then when it looked like his brother -- might come along -- they put a bullet in the back of his brain.

And Bobby, oh Lord! I feel like our country's last hopes leaked out on to that ballroom floor that night along with his blood. We were in trouble already, and it's been a long descent ever since. Because of what happened to his brother -- and what he knew -- Bobby understood. And he was killed over it.

And the message got to the third brother.
The incident at Chappaquiddick destroyed any White House hopes, and Ted pretty much capitulated in the Senate. In a sense, who can blame him? I'm not lining up for a bullet in the brain, are you?

Even the attacks on health care wore on Ted, as the bills presented before he died were a far cry from the thundering 1970s Ted who wanted universal, single-payer coverage. I will give him that: in his prime he could really stir a crowd.

Well, the rains have stopped a bit, so I think I will take a break and recuperate a bit. I will be back this afternoon to pick up the postings, dear readers, thank you. I would like to leave this one up top for a bit.
