WASHINGTON — President Obama’s new health care law could potentially add $115 billion more to government health care spending over the next 10 years, congressional budget referees said yesterday.
If Congress approves all the additional spending called for in the legislation, it would push the ten-year cost of the overhaul above $1 trillion — an unofficial limit the Obama administration set early on.
Translation: The DemcraPs LIED and LOW-BALLED the numbers just like the Repuglicans and the prescription drug bill under Bush.

The Congressional Budget Office said the added spending includes $10 billion to $20 billion in administrative costs to federal agencies carrying out the law, as well as $34 billion for community health centers and $39 billion for Indian health care.
The costs were not reflected in earlier estimates by the budget office, although Republican lawmakers strenuously contended that they should have been.
They are both the f***ing same!
Part of the reason is technical: The additional spending is not mandatory, leaving Congress with discretion to provide the funds in follow-on legislation.

When Congress passed the bill in March, the Budget Office estimated the coverage expansion would cost $938 billion over 10 years, while reducing the federal deficit by $143 billion....
Now it will reduce the deficit by $28 billion -- if you believe the lying government and MSM.

It is limited to firms with 250 workers or fewer, and applications will have to pass review by specialists at the National Institutes of Health.

And on Capitol Hill, a bill to raise taxes on pipe tobacco to the same level as loose tobacco has yet to be debated.

With crucial midterm elections looming, the administration is determined to put the law’s benefits front and center as they are enacted, in hopes of winning over public opinion for the new system and generating confidence in leadership by Obama and his Democratic allies controlling Congress.

And I AM OFFENDED that this is MORE ABOUT HIS (and their) POLITICAL HEALTH than OUR PHYSICAL HEALTH!!!!
Yesterday’s event was timed to coincide with the release later this week of the first batch of $250 checks to seniors who fall into Medicare’s prescription drug coverage gap, known as the “doughnut hole.’’ Some 4 million elderly and disabled people will get checks this year, a down payment on the law’s approach to closing the gap over the next decade.
That is CHUMP CHANGE, folks!!!!!
"Currently, seniors must pay out of pocket for drug costs that are more than $2,830 and less than $6,440 a year. The typical beneficiary will get a $250 rebate this year for the coverage gap and would save $700 in 2011 and $3,000 a year by 2020"

The next question was from a listener in Illinois who wanted to know whether participants in the private insurance plans in Medicare, called Medicare Advantage, would lose benefits.
He must have opened up the bill, huh?
The answer is yes, according to the Congressional Budget Office. But Obama didn’t come out and say it, explaining instead that Medicare Advantage plans are overpaid and subsidized by the majority of seniors who are on regular Medicare, something that’s also true.
