The increased interest in saving money and rising awareness of the environmental benefits of reusing products, combined with a growing trend away from conspicuous consumption, are adding to big business for resale shops.

I DO NOT SEE THAT among the UPPER CLASSES, sorry!


As a result of this frugal shopping trend, the number of resale stores has soared....


Yeah, in this case the FRUGAL CONSUMER is a GOOD THING!

Don't you love the SHINE the Boston Globe can put on a TURD!?


The chains are taking advantage of a trend toward frugality....

Not only are people buying more used goods, they're selling more to bring in extra cash -- and the greater the inventory, the greater the sales....

Yeah, as if this were all a GOOD THING!


Good thing I save the clippings, huh?
