Bloomberg's Bluster About Boston

UPDATE: NYPD will deploy 'harmless' gas into subway in terror response drill

Get out of New York.  NOW!

"Times Square was next target, officials say" by Brian MacQuarrie and Sean P. Murphy  |  Globe Staff, April 26, 2013

The two brothers accused of bombing the Boston Marathon and killing an MIT police officer swiftly hatched a new plan for terror as they hijacked a car. Their next target, according to New York authorities: Times Square.

Yeah, yeah, I already heard that.

Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev carried the tools of terror, Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg of New York said Thursday. The stolen Mercedes sport utility vehicle contained five pipe bombs and a pressure cooker similar to the devices that had killed three and injured 264 in Boston.

Seriously, how far did they think they were going to get in a STOLEN car with the entire eastern seaboard on alert? Quit shoveling, will ya'?

If not for a firefight with police in Watertown, Bloomberg said, the brothers might have followed up their devastating attack in Boston with another in New York.

Yeah, martial law in Boston saved New York.

“We don’t know if we would have been able to stop the terrorists, had they arrived here,” said Bloomberg, who had been briefed by the FBI. ‘‘We’re just thankful that we didn’t have to find out that answer.’’

Well, if you were counting on the FBI and the federal government probably not. By why would the NYPD need to do that?

In New York, Bloomberg said at a press conference that the city appears to have averted a terrorist attack.

The suspects “intended to drive to New York and detonate additional explosives in Times Square,” Bloomberg said.

The FBI notified him Wednesday that Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 19, had outlined the plan during interrogation at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, where he is recovering from multiple wounds, the mayor said.

Tamerlan Tsarnaev, 26, died of injuries suffered in the shoot-out with police.

The plan apparently fell apart when the brothers discovered that the hijacked Mercedes SUV was low on fuel and they stopped for gasoline in Cambridge.

WHAT? They STOPPED for GAS? That's how they got caught?

The carjacking victim escaped and alerted police, which sparked a police pursuit, a running shoot-out, and a massive manhunt that engulfed a stunned Watertown neighborhood.

That's the boiled-down, bullshit narrative now.

The Boston office of the FBI declined to comment on Bloomberg’s statements.

New York City Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly said Dzhokhar Tsarnaev initially had told investigators that he and his brother decided to go to New York to “party.”

That story changed, he said, in a later interrogation when Tsarnaev told investigators the brothers had decided spontaneously on bombing Times Square.

Translation: he was tortured, and the government and newspapers are shoveling s***.

The Globe has reported that the carjacking victim told authorities that Tamerlan Tsarnaev had said: “We just killed a cop. We blew up the Marathon. And now we’re going to New York. Don’t [expletive] with us.”

Why would they say that, unless the people or person that did it wanted to frame these guys?

The first interrogation of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was conducted Saturday evening into Sunday morning; the second was Sunday evening into Monday morning, Kelly said.

The FBI told New York authorities that Tsarnaev was “more lucid” during the second interrogation.

Translation: they broke him and he signed their paper.

Kelly added that Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was photographed in Times Square with friends on or before April 18, 2012, and again in November 2012. He said he did not know if those visits were related to the decision to come to New York.

That ties it up. He's guilty.

“Whenever we get information, we take it seriously,” Bloomberg said.

“We are going to do whatever we can to keep everybody safe in this city,” he added....

That the kind of fart mist they are going to release into the subway?

We know who was their contact in Rhode Island on their meticulously-planned escape after hanging around loose and relaxed for two-three days after the drill, 'er, bombing.

"Body of missing Brown student is ID’d" by Meghan E. Irons  |  Globe Staff, April 25, 2013

They had spent the past five weeks searching for him, hoping against all hope that their beloved brother and son Sunil Tripathi was alive and well.

But on Thursday, Rhode Island police delivered the Tripathi family the terrible news: A body pulled from the Providence River earlier in the week was Sunil, the bright 22-year-old Brown University philosophy student who had been missing since March 15 and whose name had been wrongly linked to the Boston Marathon suspects one month later....

A surveillance video released in March shows a man matching Tripathi’s description walking south on Brook Street near his apartment at 1:33 a.m. March 16, just 19 minutes after his last known computer activity, according to a statement from the family.

Family members were worried about his health and well-being.

“He was never clinically diagnosed [with depression],’’ Ravi Tripathi told Piers Morgan on CNN Wednesday night. “But we in the family knew he had problems with his mood.”

Police combed parks and wooded areas. Tripathi’s parents, siblings, and friends gathered in Providence to help and enlisted friends and relatives to keep Tripathi’s name in the news. They set up a Twitter account, made a video, and launched a Facebook page, “Help Us Find Sunil Tripathi.’’

After the FBI released pictures of the terrorism suspects in the April 15 Marathon bombings, people began posting on online sites such as Reddit and Twitter that one of them resembled Tripathi.

In the postings, users called Tripathi a terrorist and used other hateful language, further adding to the agony of his family who were desperate to find him.

Hey, I WAS ONLY RESPONDING to PUBLISHED DISINFORMATION, I mean, ma$$ media reports in an attempt to stay on top of this story that hits close to home. Boston is my state capital, birthplace of American freedom, now Boston Strong, and land that I love! This thing has been painful for me, too -- especially the Boston Globe bulls***.

“It was incredibly painful for our family,’’ Sangeeta Tripathi told Morgan. “This was coming at a time after 34 days of pain and worry for our family.”

Reddit’s general manager issued an apology for the bad information.

The family posted their YouTube video with the headline: “Sunil Tripathi: missing Brown student & NOT the Boston Marathon bombing suspect.”

In it, friends and family deliver a message to Tripathi, telling him how much they miss and love him.

That I am sorry about.

His sister held up a football jersey she got for him. An aunt said she could not wait to see him so they can get the spinach calzone he so liked.

Addressing the campus community, Brown University president Christina Paxson expressed sadness over news that Tripathi had been found dead....

You people accept the state's answers and explanations if you must. I sometimes question this whole thing. They pulled a body, big whoop. This guy could be a CIA ghost now with more identities than you know. Or he could have been captured with intent to frame for Boston, but that wouldn't really fly so, he is executed and then "found." After everything we have seen regarding who control$ the ma$$ media me$$age and it lie$, can there be any doubt when one can crack the code and read between the lines of the stories they deem important?
