Chief Fan Takes Loss to Broncos Hard

"Man dies in altercation at K.C. stadium" Associated Press, December 03, 2013

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Police have launched a homicide investigation after a man was killed in an altercation Sunday in the parking lot of Arrowhead Stadium as the Kansas City Chiefs played the Denver Broncos.

These kinds of things happen a lot more often than the propaganda pre$$ like to let on.

Police spokesman Darin Snapp said no arrests had been made.

Snapp said the man, who was in his 20s, was found unconscious on the pavement when authorities arrived. Paramedics administered first aid before he was taken to a hospital, where he died. His name has not been released.

The argument began when the victim was reportedly spotted in a vehicle that did not belong to him, Snapp said. The man had his son with him, and the boy ran for help when the struggle began.

Snapp said there were no obvious indications of how the death occurred.

‘‘We don’t know if the person had a health condition, had a heart attack,’’ Snapp said.

Snapp said police interviewed several witnesses after the death and three people were taken to police headquarters for questioning.

The death came one year to the day after Chiefs linebacker Jovan Belcher shot and killed his girlfriend, Kasandra Perkins, on Dec. 1, 2012, at a home not far from the stadium.

That's eerie.

Belcher then drove to the team’s practice facility and fatally shot himself in front of then-coach Romeo Crennel and general manager Scott Pioli.

Chiefs cleaned house and moved past that awful memory.
