HOUSTON — The man charged with killing a sheriff’s deputy at a suburban gas station Friday emptied his 15-round handgun into the back and the back of the head of the deputy, as witnesses watched in horror and surveillance cameras captured the shooting, prosecutors said Monday.
I'm not saying it didn't happen; however, I'm not saying it did, either.
We have no way of knowing when it comes to ma$$ media anymore, which is why every item is now called into question for its agenda-pushing quality and propaganda purposes.

The man, Shannon Jaruay Miles, 30, walked into a courtroom crowded with sheriff’s deputies and police officers for his first court appearance Monday morning. Wearing a yellow jail jumpsuit, Miles said nothing as the Harris County district attorney, Devon Anderson, described to a judge what the authorities have called an unprovoked attack. The deputy, Darren Goforth, 47, had pulled into a Chevron gas station shortly before 8:30 p.m. Friday when Miles approached him from behind and opened fire, the authorities said.
After the hearing, Anderson said Miles was cooperating with investigators. Anthony Osso, one of Miles’s court-appointed lawyers, said his client was “obviously concerned about the situation he’s in,” but he added that he had not discussed the case at length with him....

SAN ANTONIO — Video obtained by a San Antonio television station appears to show a man with his hands up fatally shot by deputies, an encounter that authorities say happened after the armed man resisted arrest and nonlethal weapons failed to bring him under control.
Gilbert Flores, 41, died shortly after the shooting Friday, the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement Monday.
Deputies were responding to a domestic disturbance and found a woman with a cut on her head and a baby who appeared injured, according to the statement.
The deputies encountered Flores, who was armed, and attempted to arrest him, the sheriff’s department said. After Flores resisted, they used nonlethal weapons, but when ‘‘those efforts failed,’’ they shot him, the statement said.
Then what good are those pieces of crap tools (taser) or the obviously inferior training and money spent on it all?
The video, taken by a bystander and obtained by KSAT-TV, appears to show Flores standing still with his arms raised just before two shots are heard.
Maybe he was trying to do suicide by cop, which is something that is happening regularly now.

DALLAS — A second video that captured Texas deputies fatally shooting a man whose hands were raised appears to show that he was holding a knife, a sheriff said Wednesday, declining to release the video because the investigation is still going on.
Yeah, okay, but they shot him anyway? Had his hands raised.
As for the other thing, authorities sure leak stuff all over the place when it suits 'em, videos and all. I'm sure Texans are used to the smell of bullshit.
Bexar County Sheriff Susan Pamerleau said the video has been forwarded to the Texas Department of Public Safety’s crime lab to see whether the footage can be blown up and slowed down to establish the sequence of Friday’s events.

Although it’s unclear from the video what 41-year-old Gilbert Flores may have been holding while facing deputies with his hands up outside of a home near San Antonio, investigators believe it was a knife, she said.

‘‘There’s no doubt that what was shown in that video is of grave concern to all of us, but we also want to get this right,’’ Pamerleau said of the investigation, which also involves the FBI. She declined to say whether investigators recovered a knife from the scene after the shooting.
If they had I would have suspected planting.
A separate video taken by a motorist and released publicly shows Flores raise his arms in apparent surrender and stand motionless just before the two deputies opened fire, killing him. A utility pole obscured one of his arms in that video, but Pamerleau said the second video, which was taken from a different angle, showed that both of Flores’s arms were raised when he was shot.
The deputies involved in the shooting, Greg Vasquez and Robert Sanchez, have been placed on administrative leave.

OLATHE, Kan. — The man who admitted killing three people at two suburban Kansas City Jewish sites gave jurors a Nazi salute Monday after they convicted him of murder and other charges for the shootings, which he said would allow him to ‘‘die a martyr.’’
It took the jury of seven men and five women about two hours to find Frazier Glenn Miller guilty of one count of capital murder, three counts of attempted murder, and assault and weapons charges.
After the verdict was announced, Miller, 74, of Aurora, Mo., said: ‘‘The fat lady just sang.’’ As jurors were filing out of the courtroom, he raised his right arm in the Nazi salute and told them: ‘‘You probably won’t sleep tonight.’’

The judge reminded Miller that the same jury will decide his sentence. He could get the death penalty. The sentencing proceedings were expected to begin Tuesday.

During the prosecution’s closing, District Attorney Steve Howe cited a ‘‘mountain of evidence’’ against Miller, who is charged with capital murder in the April 2014 shootings at two Jewish sites in Overland Park, Kan. Although he has admitted to killing the three people, he has pleaded not guilty, saying it was his duty to stop genocide against the white race. None of the victims was Jewish.

‘‘He wants to be the one who decides who lives and dies,’’ Howe said of Miller.
The Passover eve shootings killed William Corporon, 69, and Corporon’s 14-year-old grandson, Reat Griffin Underwood, at the Jewish Community Center in Overland Park, and Terri LaManno, 53, at the nearby Village Shalom retirement center.
During his closing, Miller said he had been ‘‘floating on a cloud’’ since the killings. Earlier, he objected when Howe alleged he wanted to kill as many people as possible. Miller interjected: ‘‘I wanted to kill Jews, not people.’’
Miller urged jurors to ‘‘show great courage’’ and find him not guilty.
‘‘You have the power in your hands to inspire the world,’’ he said. ‘‘You can become a man or woman your forefathers will be proud of for your bravery.’’
Miller is a Vietnam War veteran who founded the Carolina Knights of the Ku Klux Klan in his native North Carolina and later the White Patriot Party. He also ran for the House of Representatives in 2006 and the Senate in 2010 in Missouri, espousing a white-power platform.

WICHITA, Kan. — A Kansas man who plotted a suicide bomb attack aimed at causing ‘‘maximum carnage’’ at a Wichita airport was sentenced Monday to 20 years in prison.
Terry L. Loewen apologized to his family and thanked his attorneys before US District Judge Monti Belot imposed the proposed sentence that came with the plea deal.
The 60-year-old Wichita man pleaded guilty in June to attempting to use a weapon of mass destruction. His arrest in December 2013 was the culmination of a monthslong sting operation in which two FBI agents posed as coconspirators.

Loewen came to the attention of the FBI in late May 2013, when he became a Facebook friend of an individual who regularly posted information supporting violent jihad, or holy war, court documents show.

At the time, Loewen was an avionics technician for Hawker Beechcraft’s facility at Mid-Continent Airport, now called the Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport.
