"Northeastern University seeks help finding missing student" by Felicia Gans Globe Correspondent December 04, 2015
Northeastern University is asking for the public’s help in finding a student who has not been heard from in five days.
Dennis Njoroge, 21, swiped his ID to enter the Marino Center to use the gym on Nov. 28, said university spokeswoman Renata Nyul. Njoroge’s parents last heard from him on Nov. 29, she said.
Njoroge, a third year student from Worcester, is about 5-feet-6 with brown eyes, black hair, short dreadlocks, and a thin build. He frequently wears black pants, brown Timberland boots, an olive green jacket, and a plain black baseball cap, according to a flier from Northeastern police that was attached to a university statement.
“We are extremely concerned about a Northeastern University student who was reported missing earlier this week,” Madeleine Estabrook, vice president of student affairs, said in the statement. “University officials, including NUPD, have been working closely and around the clock with city and state law enforcement officers, as well as with Dennis’ family, in hopes of finding him safe.”
Anyone with information about Njoroge is asked to call Northeastern police....
