Because I used to look forward to getting the Sunday papers and getting my blue and red pens out, marking the selected items, thinking I was getting "news, facts and information." Now I buy the Boston Sunday Globe so my friend can have the sports; honestly, I no longer look to my daily ritual with energetic enthusiasm as in years past (not long ago).
