WASHINGTON - The Bush administration announced plans to sell $6 billion in arms to Taiwan, a decision sure to anger Taiwan's rival China and one that could complicate stalled North Korean disarmament efforts. The package includes Apache helicopters and Patriot III antimissile missiles. The arms deal has support among senior lawmakers and will be approved if no objections are filed within 30 days (AP)."
