"'Joe the plumber' faces scrutiny; He is unlicensed, owes back taxes" by Globe Staff | October 17, 2008

Joe the plumber's 15 minutes of fame took a sour turn yesterday.

The star of Wednesday night's presidential debate, Joe Wurzelbacher, appeared on several national TV news shows and both campaigns kept mentioning him. But it was reported that he doesn't have a plumber's license and owes back taxes to the state of Ohio.

(Blog author just exhaling in outraged disgust)

Wurzelbacher confronted Democrat Barack Obama over his tax policy during a campaign stop on Sunday in Ohio, so during the debate Republican John McCain repeatedly referred to him to go after Obama on taxes and healthcare.

"The real winner last night was Joe the plumber. Joe's the man," McCain said, giving a thumbs-up at his first post-debate campaign rally yesterday in Pennsylvania. He said on Fox News Channel yesterday that he and Wurzelbacher were probably "going to be spending some time together" on the campaign trail.

And last night, McCain's campaign unveiled a new TV ad featuring Wurzelbacher to criticize Obama on taxes. While he won't say whom he will vote for, Wurzelbacher voted in the Republican primary. He is critical of Obama's plan to end the income tax cuts for people making more than $250,000 a year, saying it would stifle his dream to buy a plumbing company.

"Just because you work a little harder, to have more money taken from you - that's scary," Wurzelbacher said on ABC's "Good Morning America" yesterday. "Why should they be penalized for being successful? . . . Obama wants to take that basic right and penalize me for it. That's a very socialistic view."

So is the government TAKING OVER BANKS, but I didn't hear a fart bleat from this shitter then!!!!

But Obama and his running mate, Senator Joe Biden, yesterday questioned the plumber's working-class cred. "How many plumbers do you know making a quarter-of-a-million dollars a year?" Obama asked supporters in New Hampshire.

The plumbers' union, which says it was the first union to back Obama, also criticized what it called McCain's "manufactured outrage on behalf of Joe." It would be "a lot more believable if his economic plan had anything to do with helping working people deal with the economic crisis," Steve Kelly, assistant general president of the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry, said in a statement. "Instead, it washes the middle class down the drain."

What, McCain just another scumbag politician? Noooooooooo!

The Associated Press reported that Wurzelbacher doesn't have a plumbing license and doesn't need one because he works for someone else, a small company that does residential work. But the county Wurzelbacher and his employer live in, Lucas County, requires plumbers to have licenses, and neither Wurzelbacher nor his employer is licensed there, the Associated Press reported.

Translation: Joe and his company are LAW-BREAKERS then, aren't they?

And Bloomberg News reported that Wurzelbacher owes the state of Ohio almost $1,200 in back income taxes. Before those news reports, Wurzelbacher, 34, said he was feeling overwhelmed by the sudden attention.

"I'm kind of like Britney Spears having a headache. Everybody wants to know about it," he told reporters gathered outside his home near Toledo. "I just hope I'm not making too much of a fool of myself." --more--"

Only problem is BRITNEY has a LOT MORE CLASS than YOU, scum-shit!!!!!!!!!!

Nevertheless, McCain and his LYING MSM WHORES keep the beat going

"McCain defends Joe the plumber; Senator calls him victim of attacks" by Globe Staff And Associated Press | October 18, 2008

MIAMI - Republican John McCain stood up yesterday for the Joe the plumber, saying that he asked a good question about Democratic rival Barack Obama's tax proposals and that he is being smeared in return.

Since McCain repeatedly cited Joe Wurzelbacher during the final presidential debate this week, his credentials as a working-class symbol have come under scrutiny. When Wurzelbacher complained last weekend to Obama that his tax plans would discourage him from buying a plumbing business in Toledo, Ohio, Obama replied that in a tough economy, it would be good for America to "spread the wealth." But news reports on Thursday uncovered that Wurzelbacher does not have a plumber's license, owes back taxes to the state of Ohio, did not have firm plans to buy the business, and would probably qualify for a tax cut under Obama's proposal.

Then he is DEFINITELY a Repug plant -- or he is just ONE MORE SHIT-HEADED 'murkn voter!!!!!!!!

At a rally in Miami, however, McCain portrayed Wurzelbacher as an innocent victim. Others are also rallying to Wurzelbacher's side. There's already an online effort to get Joe to run for Congress as a Republican in 2010.

The effort's website says, "Joe 'The Plumber' Wurzelbacher is exactly what Washington D.C. needs in the US Congress. A future small business owner, check. Blue-collar perspective, check. Father, check. Real-world experience, check. Faith in the American Dream, check."

The SCALE of LIES is ASTONISHING, isn't it?

FUCK the REPUGLICANS!!!!

But real plumbers don't like Joe - at least the ones supporting Democrat Barack Obama. "He's impersonating a plumber," Kevin L. Cotter, business manager of Local 12 in Boston of the Plumbers and Gasfitters union, said of Wurzelbacher.

About 100 union plumbers from the local plan to knock on union members' doors today in Portsmouth, N.H., to urge them to vote for Obama and US Senate candidate Jeanne Shaheen, a Democrat. Joe the plumber is certain to be a topic of conversation, Cotter said. Cotter's international union was the first to endorse Obama. Its local in Wurzelbacher's neck of the woods also plans an event tomorrow, timed with McCain's visit to Toledo.

"Actual plumbers will share their concerns with several of Senator McCain's proposals including his plan to tax employer-based healthcare insurance, his tax proposal which favors the wealthy over working Ohioans, and other issues that will impact working families," the local said. --more--"

Come to think of it, maybe Wurzelbacher IS a plumber: He is CERTAINLY FILLED with SHIT!!!!!!!
