"Democratic fund-raiser Hsu convicted" by Associated Press | May 20, 2009

NEW YORK - Longtime fund-raiser Norman Hsu was convicted yesterday of violating campaign finance laws in a case that became an embarrassment to Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton and other prominent Democrats he courted....

Oh, the liberals around here would be in a state of disbelief.... if they cared to know, that is.

Hsu, 58, had been accused of using clients of his fraudulent investment business, including actors and other political novices, as straw donors to make thousands of dollars in campaign donations. The scheme was designed to bypass rules limiting the amount any single individual or group can donate.

During the trial that began May 12, television actress Susan Chilman testified that she gave nearly $42,000 to Clinton and other Democratic candidates. Once she took out her checkbook, Hsu would simply give her a name and an amount, then later reimburse her, said Chilman, who has had roles in "Brothers & Sisters," "CSI Miami," and "ER" under the stage name Susan Pari.

Why the stage name? Hide the jewishness?

Jurors also heard testimony from several other investors who recounted how Hsu showed off his political connections by decorating his home with photos of himself with marquee Democrats. One witness testified she met President Barack Obama, Secretary of State Clinton, President Bill Clinton, Senators John F. Kerry and Edward M. Kennedy, and Representative Patrick Kennedy of Rhode Island at fund-raisers she attended with him.

Oh, the STENCH of AmeriKan politics!!!!!

Prosecutors played a voicemail recording of Clinton, then a senator, effusively praising Hsu for his loyal support.

"Loss of disc with Clinton data investigated" by Bloomberg News | May 21, 2009

WASHINGTON - Federal authorities are investigating the disappearance of a computer disc from the National Archives containing Social Security numbers and Secret Service procedures from former President Bill Clinton's administration, congressional officials said.

Yeah, they gotta spy on us but they can't keep anything safe.

I just wonder which patsies are being set up from this ID theft.

Among the files on the disc were 100,000 Social Security numbers, including that of one of Al Gore's daughters, contact information for officials who served in the Clinton administration, and "other highly sensitive information," according to a statement from Representative Darrell Issa, the ranking Republican on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee.

Blackmail purposes?

Democratic Representative Edolphus Towns of New York, chairman of the committee, called it a "serious security breach."

Mark McKenna, a spokesman for Clinton, said Clinton Foundation officials have asked the Archives for "a full accounting of what was on the drive." The disc was lost between October 2008 and March 2009 and a criminal probe is underway by the Archives inspector general and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Susan Cooper, director of communications for the Archives, said the Archives "immediately undertook a review of our internal controls and we have implemented improved security processes." Issa called for a congressional investigation.

That's what our government thinks of you.

WASHINGTON - Sensitive documents about US taxpayers were found in trash outside all Internal Revenue Service sites visited in an investigation, putting the people at risk of identity theft, an inspector's report says.

And WE KNOW WHO is responsible for such rackets, right, readers?

So WHO they wanna FRAME?

The tax collection agency must bolster oversight of contractors that dispose of papers with personally identifiable information, the inspector general for tax administration at the US Treasury said in the report released yesterday.

How about DOING AWAY with the ILLEGAL ENTITY!?!!!

Watch:
America: Freedom to Fascism

"At every location we visited, we found documents containing PII (personally identifiable information) or other SBU (sensitive but unclassified) information in regular waste containers and/or dumpsters," it said.

Yup, government safeguarding your stuff for ya!

"If security policies are not adequately communicated and adhered to, sensitive taxpayer information and employee data are at an increased risk of disclosure or other improper usage."

Tell that to the cops when they come get you for something you never heard of before.

It wasn't me, officer, it wasn't me! That always works.
