"Prisoners escape from state prison

ZACATECAS - Suspected members of a Mexican drug cartel disguised as federal police entered a state prison in the northern state of Zacatecas yesterday and freed 59 inmates, police and army officials said. WASHINGTON - ....

"The border is far more secure than it's ever been."

What idiot said that?

Hundreds of federal agents, along with high-tech surveillance gear and drug-sniffing dogs, are being deployed to the Southwest as part of an Obama administration plan to crack down on border violence and work with Mexico against drug cartels. A mayor from the border in Texas told lawmakers more money is needed to help curb crossborder trafficking of drugs, guns, and humans.

This is about tracking people and their movements, not those reasons; otherwise, the government wouldn't be involved in those operations.
