"Blast in Sunni district of Baghdad kills five, injures 16; Scattered violence continues in Iraq" by Barbara Surk, Associated Press | October 19, 2009

BAGHDAD - A bomb attached to a motorcycle exploded yesterday near a cafe in a largely Sunni district of Baghdad killing five people, Iraqi police said....

The summer’s deadly bombings in the capital also heightened fears about the abilities of Iraqi security forces to protect the people in the aftermath of US troops’ pullout....

Scattered violence has continued around the country....

Yeah, it is EVERY DAY but it is scattered.

I don't know about you, readers, but I'm sick of the MSM distortions.

They lied about Iraq from the beginning, and never stopped.

In Baghdad yesterday, a government employee was killed and three of his colleagues were injured when a bomb attached to their vehicle detonated near Baghdad University in the Karrada neighborhood, police said....

Because violence in Iraq is sharply down from its peak levels, the United States is preparing for the withdrawal of all combat forces by August 2010 and everyone else by 2012. In the coming days and months, tens of thousands of soldiers will be moving from Iraq to Kuwait and finally to the United States for the long journey home....

Actually, they are being sent to Afghanistan, but hey, what's one more deception in a newspaper full of them?

Next day's violence report in the Globe
:

Sort of says it all, doesn't it?

Maybe they combined them in one report
:

"The 325-page report, released Friday....

Then why am I seeing it reported on a Wednesday?

Dozens of pages were redacted from the report, which was posted on the website of the US military headquarters in Iraq....

Oh, because the MILITARY DIDN'T HAND out a NEWS ARTICLE, 'er, statement to the press, that's why!

So what about DEAD IRAQIS, Glob?

"Obama sticks to Iraqi pullout schedule, presses leader on vote; Law needed for nationwide January election" by Steven R. Hurst, Associated Press | October 21, 2009

WASHINGTON - The vote could be delayed, snarling American plans to begin significantly scaling back US troop presence....

Still believing that withdrawal talk, 'murkn? I don't. I've heard YEARS of that kind of s*** and NUTHIN'!

--more--"

Update
: Iraqi vote stalemate could delay withdrawal

Funny, I already previewed the Glob and NO MENTION of THAT!
