Chinese Child Killers

This is part of it, readers. Have to instill that evil China image in AmeriKan minds.

"Gender imbalance grows wider in China" by Associated Press | January 13, 2010

BEIJING - Abortions of girl fetuses are expected to leave China with 24 million more men than women over the next decade, according to a study that warns the imbalance will dash many young men’s chance at marriage and lead to increased crime.

China enforces strict family planning controls, including limiting most couples to having one child. Because of a traditional preference for male heirs, many families terminate pregnancies of girl babies in order to be able to continue trying for a boy. Infanticide of baby girls has also become a problem.

Too much of that in the world already! Don't do that to your beautiful little girls!!

The study by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, reported in Chinese state media this week, said such preferences are behind the ballooning imbalance. “Sex-specific abortions are extremely commonplace, especially in rural areas,’’ the CASS report said. “The phenomenon of abortions of female fetuses is very serious.’’

The more I hear or think about the issue, the more I realize it is an evil.

"The issue would revert to the states, where it constitutionally belongs.... anyone expecting perfection in this world is going to be consistently disappointed.... "

Yeah, this one is a tough one to get down. To accept the mass-murder of who knows how many lives before they begin is troubling.

The report is similar to other studies in recent years that warn of serious social problems because of the gap.

Yeah, I love the repeaters in my "news"paper.

I guess that's why they are cutting them out of the womb now?

"China’s rate of births by C-section soars; Many not needed medically, study by WHO finds" by Margie Mason, Associated Press | January 13, 2010

HANOI - Nearly half of all births in China are delivered by caesarean section, the world’s highest rate according to a survey by the World Health Organization, which warned that a boom in unnecessary surgeries is jeopardizing women’s health.

Rates of C-sections have reached “epidemic proportions’’ in many countries worldwide, the WHO said in a report focusing on Asia....

I don't know; they rip a lot of them out here, too!!

The survey was published online yesterday in the medical journal Lancet, mirrors similar results reported by WHO in 2005 from Latin America, where 35 percent of pregnant women surveyed were delivering by C-section.

Probably up to 2 million by now, but who is counting?

Amazing how the MSM accepts certain reports it likes from Lancet while hammering others, hmmmm?

But believe them in this agenda-pushing case, pfft!

“The relative safety of the operation leads people to think it’s as safe as vaginal birth,’’ said Dr. A. Metin Gulmezoglu, from the WHO, who coauthored the report.

WHO? Weren't they the ones responsible for the swine flu scare that never came?

Women undergoing C-sections that are not medically necessary are more likely to die or be admitted into intensive care units, require blood transfusions, or encounter complications that lead to hysterectomies, the study found. The procedure was shown to benefit babies during breech births. Reasons for elective C-sections vary globally, but increasing rates in many developing countries coincide with a rise in patients’ wealth and improved medical facilities.

In the United States, where C-sections are at an all-time high of 31 percent, the surgery is often performed on older mothers, during multiple births, or because patients request it or doctors fear malpractice lawsuits. Meanwhile, an earlier WHO survey of African countries found that C-sections occurred in about 9 percent of deliveries.

Looks like those Africans aren't such savages after all, huh, readers?

They just butcher each other with machetes under U.N auspices, but you know!

Gotta wield the cudgel against China.

And they are COMING AFTER YOUR KIDS, AmeriKa!

LOS ANGELES - A second international chain store is pulling from shelves jewelry that lab tests show contained high levels of the heavy metal cadmium, and Chinese regulators said they will investigate dangerous levels of the toxin in children’s jewelry exported to the United States.

Quit buying that cheap Chinese s***, America!

In addition, a US senator called for hearings....

Pfft!

On Monday, Wal-Mart pulled products as politicians in the United States promised new legislation and inquiries....

Getting your chain jerked again by an indifferent Congress, 'eh, America?

Didn't we just go through this stuff a couple of years ago?

The findings come after a string of product-quality scandals in 2007 that caused Congress in 2008 to ban toys and other products for children that contain lead - another dangerous and once commonly used material. Cadmium is even more harmful. A soft, whitish metal that occurs naturally in soil, cadmium is perhaps best known for its use in rechargeable nickel-cadmium batteries. It is also used in pigments and plastic and in electroplating.

And because it is CHEAPER! Why leave that out?

Of course, the next item is only a photograph that never makes the web version:

"EYES ON THE SKIES -- An annular solar eclipse brought people outside looking for a glimpse yesterday across parts of Africa and Asia. Chinese children wore protective glasses in Huaibei, Anhui Province, while a man had a filter ready in Ranchi, India. The eclipse (seen in various stages in Sri Lanka, above) differed from the total eclipse because the moon never fully covered the sun.

The Chinese kids in their brightly-colored coats with their brightly-colored glasses and mouths agape are SO CUTE!!!

Oh, the WONDER of a CHILD has me leaking water!

Yeah, that might humanize the Chinese and who needs that when you are promoting wars?
