What to Do About Global Warming

FROZEN IN TIME -- A Legoland employee, Graeme Williams, cleared snow from a replica of London landmark Big Ben yesterday in Windsor, Berkshire. Britain faced more transportation chaos as heavy snow swept south after menacing the northern United Kingdom on Tuesday, closing airports and schools. Soldiers were called in yesterday to help drivers stranded on roads in Hampshire, where as much as 16 inches of snow could fall today.

Better that than serving in Afghanistan.

C-SHELL -- Citrus farmers in St. Cloud, Fla., trying desperately to protect their groves from a cold snap, sprayed the fruit with water to produce an ice coating that could insulate against temperatures dipping into the 20s this week.

In FLORIDA?!!?!!

Farms in central Florida, the world's second-largest citrus-producing region after Brazil, were also accelerating their picking to avoid weather damage. Oranges can be damaged by exposure to temperatures 28 degrees and below, growers say.

And orange juice is expensive enough now.

FROZEN TREASURE AWAITS --Carrying metal detectors and wearing heavy winter clothing, a trio of beach-combers ventured out on to Plum Island this week in search of rare coins and valuables that might have washed ashore. Snow is expected today, and wind chills throughout the area will be in the single digits.

You don't have to tell me how cold it has been here, and I see the flakes starting to fall now.

"'Climate science' is an oxymoron. Time for Zero Tolerance of Green agendas

Wow! That Copenhagen package really worked. Global warming has been dramatically reversed. In fact, if Al Gore could see his way to turning the heat back up just a little, most of us would be deeply appreciative…

“Climate science” is the oxymoron of the century. There is not a city, town or hamlet in the country that has had its weather conditions correctly forecast, over periods as short as 12 hours, during the past week. This is the “exceptionally mild winter” that the climate change buffoons warned us would occur as a consequence of global warming. Their credibility is 20 degrees below zero.

Yet nothing shames them, nothing persuades them to come out of the bunker with their hands high and “fess up”. Patronisingly fobbing off the public with fabricated excuses has become second nature to them. Latterly they have been concocting alibis about the Gulf Stream to explain Britain’s Arctic conditions. Uh-huh? Is it the Gulf Stream that has frozen the Vistula and given Poland a temperature of –25C? Is it the Gulf Stream that has caused the worst blizzards in Beijing since 1951?

The entire Northern Hemisphere is frozen....

Yet fraudulent scientists have gained millions....

2010 should be the year when all that ends. It is time for Zero Tolerance of AGW fraudsters and their political masters. It is time to say: Green taxes? We won’t pay them. Nor will we vote for or permit to remain in office any politician or party that supports the AGW fraud....
