"Western nations press Iran to accept nuclear proposal" by David Rising and Desmond Butler, Associated Press | February 7, 2010
MUNICH - Defense Secretary Robert M. Gates, on a trip to Turkey, said it may be time to take a “different tack’’ with Tehran. Other top defense officials at the Munich Security Conference rejected overtures from Iran’s foreign minister, Manouchehr Mottaki, as nothing new.
WAR, what is it good for?
Neo-con crazies, war-looters, and Israel, hunh!
The frustration reflects concerns that Iran will use the proposal to buy more time to advance its nuclear ambitions and thwart sanctions.
After a while you tire of the unending, war-pushing Zionist lies of the AmeriKan MSM.
“I have to say unfortunately this is not a new transparency,’’ Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle of Germany said. “It does not mean there is a change - that is the situation and we have to face it.’’
Standing in the way of new sanctions, however, is China, whose foreign minister, Yang Jiechi, in Munich urged the world on Friday to be patient and keep up diplomatic efforts with Iran....
Gee, they are just working overtime for peace all over the planet, huh, 'murka?
Mottaki met with the International Atomic Energy Agency’s director general, Yukiya Amano, behind closed doors yesterday. Afterward, Mottaki said the two had discussed the details of the uranium export proposal, but he did not mention any tangible progress.
“I personally see the situation as positive for reaching an understanding,’’ he said.
Those darn positive-thinking Iranian!!
How we gonna get in a fight with you then?!!
ANOTHER FALSE FLAG ATTACK, only BLAME YOU this time?
Amano would not comment on specific details of the discussion. “There was not a proposal,’’ he said. “We exchanged views.’’
The United States and its Western allies have been pushing for a fourth round of UN sanctions to be slapped on Iran.
Why must that proud and ancient civilization that has done nothing wrong be treated like a child?
Defense Minister Karl-Theodor zu Guttenberg of Germany dismissed Mottaki’s comments as a “transparent play for time.’’
Oh, an Israeli tactic!
Russian officials, who have been skeptical of any new UN penalties, even indicated yesterday that they were losing patience. ‘They must cooperate fully with the IAEA and close those questions that have been on the table for a long time,’’ Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said.
Yeah, I'm not buying the war-pushing spin.
Something lost in the translation, or just trying to put a wedge between Russia and China, MSM?
In Ankara, Gates rejected Mottaki’s comments that progress was being made.
“The reality is they’ve done nothing to assure the international community’’ or “to stop their progress toward [building] a nuclear weapon,’’ Gates said.
What has ISRAEL DONE, Bob?
Have they EVEN DECLARED?
Are THEY OPEN to INSPECTION?
Are WE?
See: Obama Goes Nuclear
Oh, NO?!!!
In Munich, meanwhile, US national security adviser James Jones spoke of Iran’s continued “puzzling defiance’’ and said there were no indications that the country was willing to pursue a new course.
Tehran maintains that its nuclear program is only for peaceful purposes, such as electricity production, but Western powers are concerned Iran is trying to build an atomic weapon, which would destabilize the region.Of course, when Israel does it by attacking people it's no problem.

And FORGET about MORE WAR and IRAN, America, and GET ANGRY about THIS!!!!
"Chinese laborers have more options" by William Foreman, Associated Press | February 7, 2010
GUANGZHOU, China - Pulling suitcases and hefting heavy bags on their shoulders, millions of Chinese workers are boarding trains to head home for the Lunar New Year - a holiday that triggers the world’s biggest annual migration of people.
This year some may not come back from the holiday, which begins Feb. 14, a growing worry for factory owners facing labor shortages but also a sign of improving opportunities for workers throughout China, not just in the coastal regions that have long been its manufacturing base.
How you doin', 'murkn?
“During the holiday, I’ll check to see if I can get a decent job around my hometown,’’ Li Beiyong said, standing by her suitcase this week in the crowded station in Guangzhou. “The pay might be lower, but the cost of living isn’t as high. I might do better there.’’
The buoyant job market is a dramatic reversal from a year ago, when the global financial crisis was battering China’s exporters.
How come THEY are RECOVERING and YOU are NOT, AmeriKa?
Millions of migrants were told to stay home because there wouldn’t be much work in Guangzhou and other usually booming southern cities. Then, as business started picking up during the middle of last year, factories were caught short-handed.
Maybe we all need to move to China?
China has experienced labor shortages frequently during the past decade, but many businesses now say they expect it to be worse this year than ever before. Migrants are finding jobs closer to home as the poor interior provinces become more prosperous.
You are losing it all, America -- empire, economy, all of it.
You need a QUICK 180 or YOU'RE DONE!!!
The supply of young laborers is decreasing as an effect of China’s one-child policy, and fewer are willing to work for sweatshop wages as their parents did.
No, that is YOUR JOB NOW, 'murka!!!!
Farm-friendly policies are encouraging many to stay in rural areas on the land.
Can't say I don't agree with that one!
And China’s massive stimulus package has created jobs across the country, sucking labor from coastal factories.
So WHAT WENT WRONG with YOURS, 'murka?
WHO STOLE the STIMULOOT!?
To compete, companies have increased wages, which could translate into rising prices for Chinese-made goods worldwide.
Great, JUST AS YOUR DOLLAR CRAPS OUT, American!!
Hello, hyper-inflation and destruction of YOUR ECONOMY, America!
Your leaders have managed it so splendidly, haven't they?
They may also increase the buying power of workers, which in turn could help China reduce its dependence on exports by boosting domestic demand - including potentially for imported goods....
Is that where you went wrong, AmeriKa?
About 210 million passengers - more than Russia’s population - are expected to ride the rails during the 40-day New Year travel season. The holiday officially lasts six days, but many workers take a month off.
They have it BETTER THAN YOU, AmeriKan slave!!!
