The Definition of Slow Saturday

Just for blog readers who may not understand the term.

Slow Saturday:

The day the newspaper prints the worst, most embarrassing stories to the power structure they defend because it is the least read and circulation day for the paper -- another reason government releases bad news late on Friday afternoons. By the time Sunday rolls around, the embarrassment has missed the news cycle and your fat Sunday paper presents the predetermined (on Thursday the Sunday paper is put together) agenda-pushing for that day (Sunday a big readership day as elitist folk sit around the house with a fat paper all day).

It sure explains the odd and awkward news choices by the Globe on those given days.
