Around AmeriKa: MSM's Mississippi Burning

Seems to be a focus of the Glob, almost as if they wish to instill a stereotype in my Massachusetts mind.

"Ex-Klansman convicted in slayings sues FBI" by Associated Press | February 26, 2010

JACKSON, Miss. - A former Ku Klux Klansman convicted in the 1964 slayings of three civil rights workers has sued the FBI, claiming the government used a mafia hit man to pistol-whip and intimidate witnesses for information in the case.

I wouldn't be surprised at all knowing everything about COINTELPRO and all the false-flag "terrorist" frame-ups from white supremacists to Muslim terrorists.

Edgar Ray Killen, 85, a former saw mill operator and onetime Baptist preacher, was convicted in 2005 of manslaughter based in part on testimony from a mistrial 40 years ago in Mississippi.

The lawsuit filed Wednesday in federal court seeks millions of dollars in damages and a declaration that Killen’s rights were violated when the FBI allegedly used a gangster known as “The Grim Reaper’’ in the case.

“Money is secondary; we really just want the truth out,’’ said Robert A. Ratliff of Mobile, Ala., who represents Killen. “What we’re looking for is the complete, unredacted FBI file. Stand up and tell us what happened.’’

That's what WE ALL WANT on so MANY FRONTS!

Killen has maintained his innocence in the killings. He is serving a 60-year sentence at a prison in central Mississippi.

Ratliff said one of the defense lawyers, the late Clayton Lewis, who represented Killen, was a paid FBI informant.

Yeah, that happens all the time! FBI infiltrates with their little scum informers and either stirs s*** up or breaks the law.

And you didn't really think this guy got a fair hearing, did you?

"Court upholds KKK conviction

JACKSON — A federal appeals court has upheld the 2007 conviction of a reputed Ku Klux Klan member in the kidnapping of two black men who were abducted and killed in rural Mississippi in 1964. In a 2-to-1 ruling, the panel of judges said the evidence in the case against James Ford Seale was sufficient for the jury conviction in the trial that took place 43 years after the crimes.

Oh, sorry, different case.

Mississippi still full of Klansmen all these years later, huh?

Sure seems like the Zionist MSM (and by extension New England's largest) definitely want the reader to form opinions of our friends from Mississippi, 'eh?

"School cancels prom amid lesbian’s lawsuit" by Associated Press | March 12, 2010

You have to be frikkin' kidding, right?

JACKSON, Miss. — Constance McMillen did not believe her Mississippi school district would call off her senior prom rather than allow her to attend with her girlfriend and wear a tuxedo.

Yesterday, a day after the Itawamba County School Board did just that, the 18-year-old lesbian high schooler reluctantly returned to campus to some unfriendly looks, she said.

“Somebody said, ‘Thanks for ruining my senior year,’ ’’ McMillen said.

Deservedly so, you divisive little agenda-pushing s***.

The district announced Wednesday that it would not host the April 2 prom. The decision was made after the American Civil Liberties Union demanded that officials change a policy banning same-sex prom dates because it violated students’ rights. The ACLU also said the district would violate McMillen’s right to free expression if it did not allow her to wear a tuxedo.

You know, they do good work sometimes, but it is agenda-pushing crap like this that is at the root of their agenda.

The ACLU filed a lawsuit in US District Court in Oxford to force the school district to sponsor the prom and allow McMillen to bring whom she chooses and wear what she wants.

District officials did not return calls seeking comment yesterday.

At this point, who actually really gives a s***? I'm so sick and tired of hearing and reading about "gay" in the newspaper.

I guess the point is all Mississippians are bigots, right?

That's also the way Hollywood portrays them.

McMillen said she never expected the district to respond the way it did.

Yup, just another example of AmeriKa's failing schools, duuuuuuuuuuuhhhh!!!!

“A lot of people said that was going to happen, but I said, they had already spent too much money on the prom’’ to cancel it, she said. “I’m just trying to get done what I originally wanted done. Now, we’re having to fight just to have a prom.’’

Yeah, THANKS to YOU!!

ACLU talk you into a lawsuit, or.... ?

Why not cancel ALL PROMS anyway because of the TEEN DRINKING, 'eh?

Yeah, I know. I only say that to make the point, 'kay?
