Drug War Diversion

Yes, how odd that nothing had appeared for months.

In fact, I had been saving this
PoS for the next mention of the fraudulent, double-crossing, double-talking, bank-boosting, CIA-sponsored "war."

Then the timing of it all as Haiti and Chile fall further afield of the agenda-pushing AmeriKan MSM radar.

On a heavy roll today, readers, with no rhyme or reason. Please enjoy.

The first inkling:

"Clinton urges Latin America to tackle drug corruption" by Anne-Marie O’Connor, Washington Post | March 6, 2010

Yeah, I'm really going to trust them to tell us the whole story.

MEXICO CITY - Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton called for Latin America to fight drug corruption in a regional swing that ended yesterday in Guatemala, days after that country’s drug czar and national police chief were jailed for allegedly leading a police ring that stole cocaine from drug traffickers.

How can you tell the difference anymore?

The arrests underscored Guatemala’s vulnerability to traffickers, whose billions of dollars in profits and bribes are undermining a fragile country recovering from years of military rule and civil war.

I get tired of the fraud, don't you?

Organized crime has infiltrated all aspects of the Guatemalan state, and now rivals it in terms of power and influence,’’ said Andrew Hudson, senior associate at Human Rights First in New York.

Oh, so the Jewish Mafia is running Latin America as well, 'eh?

Drug czar Nelly Bonilla was arrested Tuesday, along with national police chief Baltazar Gomez. They were accused of being the ringleaders of a criminal police gang that stole 1,500 pounds of cocaine.

They were the latest in a string of police officers who have allegedly crumbled before the lure of drug profits.

BoldLike the money-laundering banks?

Oh, SAVIORS, were they? Why did they need trillions in tax loot then?

The previous national police chief was jailed in 2009 for allegedly stealing $300,000 from drug traffickers.

Yeah, CIA doesn't like being ripped off and double-crossed.

A previous drug czar, Adan Castillo, was taped pocketing $25,000 from a Drug Enforcement Agency informant as payment for overseeing drug shipments through Guatemala. He was invited to a DEA meeting in 2005 and arrested when he arrived in Virginia.

Pffft!

Time to LEGALIZE the S*** because of ALL THIS CORRUPTION CRAP!

Let Phillip Morris bring it to you; I'm not buying any on their rat s*** anyway.

Clinton has said that in spite of increased cooperation against drug traffickers in the region, the Obama administration would like Latin American governments to work harder to confront corruption.

Sort of makes you sick to your stomach after a while.

Congress has authorized $1.6 billion for fighting drug trafficking in Mexico, Central America, the Dominican Republic, and Haiti under the three-year Merida Initiative.

Excuse me?

See: Haiti's Nightmare: the Cocaine Coup and the CIA Connection

Yeah, HOW DO YOU LIKE WASTING TAX LOOT chasing CIA TAIL, Amurka?

And now the U.S. military is occupying the place and coverage has dropped off the end of the earth.

“We’re going to be asking more of a lot of our friends,’’ Clinton said during a stop in Costa Rica. “A number of them are not respecting democratic institutions.’’

Like who? HONDURAS? WTF is this woman talking about?

Guatemala has one of the highest rates of violent crime in the world. Drug traffickers and gangs have revived a feeling of insecurity for an impoverished people who are still recovering from a 36-year civil war that killed 200,000 people, most of them civilians.

Yup, a CIA-SPONSORED WAR like the LAST ONE!

Of course, we get this update from Guatemala today:

"Guatemala to lift ban on adoptions" by Associated Press | March 18, 2010

GUATEMALA CITY — International adoptions will resume in Guatemala this June after a nearly two-year suspension prompted by the discovery that some babies were being sold, officials announced yesterday....

Yup, the whole sex-slave, organ-harvesting operation tentacles, no doubt.

Until the door to adoptions closed in 2007, Guatemala was the world’s second-largest source of babies to the United States, after China, because of its routinely quick adoption process.

Authorities suspended adoptions after discovering evidence that some babies had been stolen, others had fake birth certificates, and women were being coerced to give up their children.

Yeah, don't linger or investigate that for too long, MSM.

At least 25 cases resulted in criminal charges against doctors, lawyers, mothers, and civil registrars. As a result, thousands of adoptive parents, most from the United States, were forced to put their adoptions of Guatemalan children on hold — many after paying thousands of dollars....

Like I'm supposed to feel sorry for the agenda-pushers importers because the globalist system they designed and work for has created these conditions, as well as the CIA-sponsored coups and civil wars that rarely get a concealing comment?

This whole operation is really starting to raise questions in my mind, especially regarding the same practices in Haiti and who knows where else. Not going to find it reading the Glob.

Previously, potential adoptive parents requested children with certain characteristics.

Isn't that kind of a NAZI ATTITUDE?

Certainly reeks of eugenics, doesn't it?

Under the new adoption system, the council will present a list of children who are eligible for adoption and ask that its foreign counterparts find families who would be best suited for them.

Okay, back to the theme of the post.

Here was a PREEMPTIVE PREPARATION by the BG, readers.

Was someone in the know, folks?

"Drug cartel killings along border often unreported; Media under fire turn blind eye to Mexican carnage" by Marc Lacey, New York Times | March 14, 2010

Gee, why would that be, NYT? You set the pace in Amerika, don't you?

They turn a blind eye to a lot of things, with skyscrapers collapsing down the street due to fire(?) being at the top of the list.

REYNOSA, Mexico — The big philosophical question in this gritty border town does not concern trees falling in the forest but bodies falling on the concrete: Does a shootout actually happen if the newspapers print nothing about it, the radio and TV broadcast nothing, and the authorities never confirm that it occurred?

Nope. The "out-of-sight, out-of mind" effect is amazing. If you don't see it on TV or read about it in newspaper nothing happened there -- or at least, that is the way the mind digests it. I should know; I fight the effect all the time.

And Exhibit A against the AmeriKan MSM: 9/11 and the endless MSM promoting of lies. Then an endless parade of exhibits from the government and MSM from environment to economics. When they lie about the basics contrary to physical sensation and reality, it's over. No one believes anything they say anymore.

As two powerful groups of drug traffickers engaged in fierce urban combat in Reynosa in recent weeks, the reality that many residents were living and the one that the increasingly timid news media and the image-conscious politicians portrayed were difficult to reconcile.

“You begin to wonder what the truth is,’’ said one of Reynosa’s frustrated and fearful residents, Eunice Pena, a professor of communications. “Is it what you saw, or what the media and the officials say? You even wonder if you were imagining it.’’

Umm, NO, I DO NOT WONDER about TRUTH anymore and think I've made it quite clear what I believe.

You have two choices, readers: Either YOU ARE CRAZY or THEY ARE LIARS!!

I know what MY SENSES TELL ME, and the ENDLESS ARRAY of DIVISIVE, DECEPTIVE, DISTORTED, AGENDA-PUSHING, WAR-PROMOTING MSM DRIVEL only SOLIDIFIES that FACT!

Angry residents who witnessed the carnage began to fill the void, posting raw videos and photographs taken with their cellphones.

Yes, HELLO!!!! Here I AM!! Me and my little outpost at the bottom of the hill!!

THANK YOU SOOO MUCH for COMING, readers!!!

“The pictures do not lie,’’ said a journalist in McAllen, Texas, who monitors what is happening south of the border online but has stopped venturing there himself.

No, that PYROCLASTIC CLOUD spewing forth at Ground Zero on 9/11 and the FREE-FALL COLLAPSE contrary to the LAWS of PHYSICS is a BIG CLUE on that one!!

The Mexican government’s drug offensive, employing tens of thousands of soldiers and federal police officers, has unleashed ever increasing levels of violence over the last three years as traffickers have fought to protect their lucrative smuggling routes.

Then ONCE AGAIN prohibition is a MASSIVE FAILURE!

OF course, the WAR was and is NEVER INTENDED to be WON for SO MANY REASONS!

Yesterday, shootings killed 24 people in Guerrero, a Mexican state on the Pacific that has been plagued by drug gang violence, the Associated Press reported.

And that is just on the one day the BG decided to pick up a report from the wire, dear readers!

The gunbattle erupted when attackers opened fire on soldiers patrolling the town of Ajuchitlan del Progreso. Ten gunmen and one soldier were killed, police said. Thirteen other people were killed in several other incidents.

Yeah, just wondering if they were "former" Mexican military commandos.

Oh, another item that just vanished from the MSM's drug war radar.

Journalists have long been among the victims of drug cartel murders, but the attacks on members of the media underway in Reynosa and elsewhere along a long stretch of border from Nuevo Laredo to Matamoros are at their worst.

Oh, THAT is why this SUDDENLY APPEARS!

The MSM doesn't give a shit about your average Mexican.

Traffickers have gone after the media with a vengeance in these strategic border towns where drugs are smuggled across by the ton.

I'm really starting to smell a self-centered, self-serving stink, aren't you?

They have shot up newsrooms, kidnapped and killed staff members, and called up the media regularly with threats.

Look, I'm for none of the violence and I'm not making phone calls; however, I can certainly empathize with the feeling given the s*** they shovel day after day after day.

Back off, the thugs said. Do not dare print our names. We will kill you the next time you publish a photograph like that.

But when it is Zionist or government pressure here in AmeriKa, no prob.

“They mean what they say,’’ said one of the many terrified journalists who used to cover the police beat in Reynosa. “I’m censoring myself. There’s no other way to put it. But so is everybody else.’’

Oh, I understand that phenomena quite well. That's why I am so outspoken.

When they are not issuing threats, journalists say, the drug runners are buying off reporters with everything from cash to romps with prostitutes.

Don't have to do that here. Already getting paid by CIA anyway.

The traffickers are not always so press shy. When they post banners on bridges expounding on their twisted view of the world or commit some particularly gory crime, they often seek out media coverage.

But LIES BLARED FROM NEWSPAPER HEADLINES LEADING US INTO WARS and OCCUPATIONS are NOTHING SERIOUS!!!

And if you HANG a BANNER in PROTEST, you see what that will get you (as well as no reporting) from the agenda-pushing MSM.

Sigh!

Related: Around Asia: CIA Keeps Trying in Thailand

Yeah, that coverage was dropped today. That last bit with the blood must have backfired.

But not now. And the virtual news blackout along the border has amplified fears, as false rumors of impending shootouts circulate, prompting many parents to pull their children from school and businesses to close.

If the lying MSM claims its rumors it must be fact.

It means that a mother can huddle on the floor of a closet with her daughter for what seems like an eternity as gunfire is exchanged outside their home, as occurred here recently, and then find not a word of it in the next day’s paper.

I'm lucky only in the fact that I live in Sticksville and don;t have to worry about the gunfire outside; however, I CERTAINLY UNDERSTAND the DISAPPOINTMENTS vis-a-vis the NEWSPAPERS on SO MANY TOPICS!

Even some authorities acknowledge that without news reports, it is harder for them to get a full picture of how much blood is spilled overnight.

And there is the essence of censorship, isn't it?

Of course, it was almost as if the NYT had a premonition
:

"US consular aide, husband shot to death in Mexico; Man killed, children hurt in 2d shooting; Drug traffickers are suspected" by Marc Lacey, New York Times | March 15, 2010

Again? Coincidence, 'eh?

LA UNION, Mexico — Gunmen believed to be linked to drug traffickers shot an American consulate worker and her husband to death in the violence-racked border town of Ciudad Juarez over the weekend, leaving their newborn baby wailing in the back seat of their car, the authorities said yesterday....

Already reeks of a false flag, sorry -- and at just the perfect point in time.

NYT was all over it, huh?

The shootings appeared to be the first deadly attacks on US officials and their families by Mexico’s powerful drug organizations. They came during a particularly bloody weekend when nearly 50 people were killed around the country in drug-gang violence, including attacks in Acapulco as American college students began arriving for spring break.

Uh-oh. Maybe you guys should have gone somewhere else.

Of course, if nothing happens to the kids, well, that will just stink some more.

The killings followed threats against US diplomats along the Mexican border and complaints from consulate workers that drug-related violence was growing untenable, US officials said.

And CUI BONO? WHOSE AGENDA is advanced, 'eh?

Even before the shootings, the State Department had quietly made the decision to allow consulate workers to evacuate their families across the border to the United States.

And I never saw a word in the Globe these last few months.

In Washington, President Obama expressed outrage at the “brutal murders’’ and in a statement from the White House vowed to “work tirelessly’’ with Mexican law enforcement officials to bring the killers to justice. Secretary of State Hilary Rodham Clinton said the killings underscored the need to work closely with the Mexican government “to cripple the influence of trafficking organizations at work in Mexico.’’

You smell something, readers, because I can't hear anything.

In a sign of the potential international reverberations of these killings, President Felipe Calderon of Mexico similarly expressed his indignation and condolences and said he would press forward with “all available resources’’ to control the lawlessness in Ciudad Juarez and the rest of the country.

Translation: The AGENDA needed a SHOVE, huh?

Oh, stink!

The FBI was sending agents to Ciudad Juarez yesterday to assist with the investigation and US diplomats were also en route to meet with their Mexican counterparts, said Roberta S. Jacobson, the deputy assistant secretary of state who handles Mexico.

To do what, help cover up the crime?

Sending the American FBI(?) -- a DOMESTIC intelligence agency -- isn't going to help.

The STENCH of the FALSE FLAG grows EVER STRONGER!

“We take very seriously when our employees are harmed, whether the intention was to harm US employees or not,’’ she said in a telephone interview yesterday. “The question of whether this represents some ratcheting up of the drug war will depend on the reason behind the killings.’’

Yeah, and the TIMING of the article the DAY BEFORE is VERY CURIOUS, no?

The coordinated nature of the attacks, the automatic weapons used, and the location in a city where drug cartels control virtually all illicit activity point toward traffickers as the likely suspects, said Mexican and US officials, declining to be identified. But one Mexican law enforcement official said he suspected that the consulate employees might have been singled out because of their work as providers of visas, not as an attack by the cartels against the United States. US interests in Mexico have been attacked by drug traffickers before but never with such brutality....

Another HALLMARK, if you will, of a FALSE FLAG ATTACK!

Really ENRAGE people with the DEPRAVITY so they will GET WITH the PROGRAM!

In his statement, Obama was quick to laud the antidrug offense launched three years ago by Calderon, which is backed up with more than $1 billion in US funds.

I'm GLAD you can SPARE the CHANGE, bankrupt U.S. taxpayers for such a FRAUD of a 'WAR!"

Oh, yeah, the DEATHS are ALL TOO REAL!

But a growing chorus of critics of Mexico’s drug war, which has led to spiraling levels of violence in hotspots across the country, have begun calling on Calderon to find a new approach....

Yeah, and THAT'S ALL THAT SIDE GETS in my UNBIASED WAR DAILY!

Pffffft!

Oh, yeah, also means the WAR is FAILING MISERABLY like ALL of them this s*** MSM promotes, America!! And SOME CHANGE from BUSH, 'eh?

The shootings in Ciudad Juarez took place in broad daylight, within minutes of each other on Saturday afternoon as the victims were on their way home from a social gathering....

Like I said, a reeking false flag.

Of course, the FBI will figure it all out:

"FBI aids Mexico in hunt for killers of consulate families; Slayings near Texas blamed on drug gangs" by Olivia Torres, Associated Press | March 16, 2010

CIUDAD JUAREZ, Mexico — US and Mexican federal officials said yesterday they were looking into why a suspected drug gang ambushed two cars carrying families with ties to the US consulate in this violent border city, killing an American couple and a Mexican man....

Mexico’s federal Attorney General’s Office announced that it was taking over the case from local authorities and the FBI announced it was aiding Mexican investigators.

The slayings came amid a surge in bloodshed along Mexico’s border with Texas and drew condemnation from the White House. Mexico’s president expressed outrage and promised a fast investigation to find those responsible.

Mexican authorities put suspicion on the Aztecas street gang — a group allied with the “La Linea’’ enforcement arm of the Juarez drug cartel. They said that was based on information exchanged with US federal agencies. But the reason for the attacks remained unclear.

Well, with EACH PARAGRAPH adding to the STINK!!!

All three victims had attended a children’s party hosted by another consular employee shortly before the attacks, said Andrea Simmons, the FBI spokeswoman in El Paso.

“There is no information that the victims were specifically targeted’’ because of their work with the US Consulate, she said, though the investigation is continuing.

Both the American couple and the Mexican man killed were traveling in similar vehicles — white sport utility vehicles.

Oh, EASILY RECOGNIZABLE VEHICLES of U.S. OCCUPIERS, huh?

This WHOLE THING is REEKING of STINK!

The US consulate in Ciudad Juarez, shut for yesterday’s Mexican national holiday, also will be closed today as a way for the community to mourn the loss of the victims, said consulate spokesman Silvio Gonzalez. It was the second US border consulate closed because of violence in the last month. The consular office in Reynosa, across from McAllen, Texas, closed for several days in late February because of gun battles in the area.

Yeah, THANKS for IGNORING THAT, MSM!

Several US citizens have been killed in Mexico’s drug war, most of them people with family ties to Mexico. It is very rare for American government employees to be targeted, although attackers hurled grenades at the US consulate in the northern city of Monterrey in 2008.

The atmosphere of violence in Juarez had been creeping closer to US offices for some time: On Friday, the consulate put a bar just around the block from its office off limits to US government personnel due to security concerns.

The State Department authorized US government employees at Ciudad Juarez and five other US consulates in northern Mexico to send family members out of the area because of rising drug violence concerns. The cities are Tijuana, Nogales, Nuevo Laredo, Monterrey, and Matamoros....

State Department spokesman Fred Lash said the decision was based not only on Saturday’s killings but also on a wider pattern of violence and threats in northern Mexico in recent weeks. The department noted the US Embassy in Mexico City has advised American citizens to delay unnecessary travel to parts of the Mexican states of Durango, Coahuila, and Chihuahua....

Had enough, readers?

"Wachovia settles US laundering case" by Associated Press | March 18, 2010

MIAMI — Banking giant Wachovia Corp. will pay $160 million to settle a federal investigation into laundering of illegal drug profits through Mexican exchange houses in the largest case of its kind ever brought against a US bank, prosecutors said yesterday.

“This is historic,” acting US Attorney Jeffrey Sloman said. “There is no other case like this one anywhere.”

The probe, which began in 2005 when a Drug Enforcement Administration narcotics dog in Florida detected cocaine traces in an airplane, ultimately uncovered at least $110 million in drug profits laundered from Mexico through Wachovia. The total settlement includes forfeiture in that amount plus a $50 million fine.

The agreement means Wachovia and its executives will avoid criminal prosecution in return for the $160 million payment and significant improvements in its antimoney-laundering program.

But in to the slammer goes your street dealers and medical marijuana folks.

If those and other conditions are met within one year, potential criminal charges for failure to maintain a system to detect money launderers will be dropped.

Tired of the fooleys yet?

Wachovia, now a unit of San Francisco-based Wells Fargo & Co., said in a statement that Wells Fargo had already set aside money to pay the settlement. The statement said Wachovia, based in Charlotte, ended its relationships with foreign currency exchange houses in 2008.

Just the tip of the iceberg.
