"$800,000 worth of marijuana plants seized in Vt
Police in Bennington, Vt., have seized 535 marijuana plants worth over $800,000 from a cornfield. Police Detective Sgt. David Rowland said someone called the department’s drug hotline to report the plants Thursday. Police say they were planted in line between corn rows and appear to have been started indoors. The Bennington Banner reports police are following leads in search of those responsible for cultivating the plants.
