New York Praying to Make Mosque Go Away

Actually, it is the MSM they want to take a hike, and WHO COULD BLAME THEM?

For my part, they have the constitutional right to build there and it has been approved by the proper city board, case closed. Happens in local government all the time (even against the people's will) so what's the big deal?

"On mosque controversy, New Yorkers want outsiders to butt out; Islamic center’s foes, defenders have had enough" by Jason Horowitz, Washington Post | August 21, 2010

NEW YORK — Newt Gingrich has argued, among other things, that the Muslim congregation shouldn’t build the center because “Nazis don’t have the right to put up a sign next to the Holocaust Museum in Washington.’’

I guess Newt would know all about those Nazis since he sure acts like one.

Have I told you that as much as I love history I am so sick of being bashed over the head with what happened 70 years ago?

We know why the newspaper does it, of course. It is to elicit a reaction and put in the reader's mind the image of the always-suffering, ever-persecuted Jew when nothing could be further from the truth at the present time.

The criminal cabal that runs Israel has its tentacles running from Washington D.C. to Wall Street to nearly every Western European capital.

As for my AmeriKan newspapers and television

Yeah, I have been complaining about the Zionist prism for years.

Of course, the evil Zionist s***s in charge of Israel don't care about dragging down the entire religion of Judaism by hollering anti-Semitism at every critical comment regarding Israel's criminal conduct.

Oh, btw, PALESTINIANS and ARABS are SEMITES; however, THAT COMPONENT seems to have been dropped from the definition of the word.

Sarah Palin has weighed in, too....

Well, I would expect her to plop her fat butt down in the middle of this; of course, defending Dr. Laura and the n-word scuttled sweet Sarah Palin as a presidential hopeful.

And now we find out she is also an anti-semite!

Abe, where are ye?

Ali Mohammed, like many other New Yorkers, has reached his saturation point. “They’ve got nothing to do with New York and they don’t care about New York,’’ said the 56-year-old from Brooklyn. “They are trying to create propaganda.’’

Yeah, and WE KNOW WHO PAID $36 million bucks to do it!

The WHOLE POINT of this MSM-DRIVEN EXERCISE is to reinforce the "Muslims did 9/11" bull-oney when the WHOLE WORLD KNOWS it was primarily a tag-team effort between elements of the U.S. and Israeli government to inaugurate and initiate the "war on terror."

This is a point of consensus for New York’s entire body politic, from the center’s most vocal opponent to its most full-throated defender.

“Newt Gingrich is talking about Nazis and whatever, I mean, that means nothing,’’ said Representative Peter King, a Republican who has led the local opposition to Park51, a 13-story Islamic center that would include a prayer space with an imam, a 500-seat auditorium, a pool, senior center, and meeting rooms. King, a plainspoken Long Islander, argues that the center would be insensitive to the families of Sept. 11 survivors, but he noted that some of the most prominent national opponents to the project had taken their rhetoric too far, and until very recently, didn’t seem interested in New York at all.

Yeah, I see it in my newspaper every day, day after day.

“First of all, this is real America,’’ said King, sarcastically using Palin’s phrase for the homeland....

On the opposite side of the spectrum, Jerrold Nadler, a Democratic US representative and the city’s most outspoken supporter of the Muslim congregation’s right to build the center, couldn’t agree more.

“It’s disgusting,’’ he said of the remarks by Gingrich and other Republicans who rarely expressed support for the city. “It is an attempt to exploit for purely political motives a sensitive issue. And to exploit people they obviously don’t really care about.’’

None of you guys really care about us; otherwise, this nation would not be in such shape.

So when is the next PAC or campaign check getting cut?

And get this, reader:

Meanwhile, the imam leading plans for the center said yesterday that he hopes to draw attention during his trip in the Middle East to the common challenges to battle radical religious beliefs.

Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, who is on the first leg of a 15-day Mideast tour funded by the US State Department, refused to discuss the political firestorm over the plans for the Islamic cultural center.

Wait a minute, wait a minute!

The STATE DEPARTMENT is funding a "terrorist" to go on a tour?

Instead, Rauf preferred to focus on shared concerns. Speaking after leading Friday prayers at a neighborhood mosque outside Bahrain’s capital Manama, he said radical religious views pose a security threat in the West and the Muslim world.

“This issue of extremism is something that has been a national security issue — not only for the United States but also for many countries and nations in the Muslim world,’’ Rauf said. “This is why this particular trip has a great importance because all countries in the Muslim world — as well as the Western world — are facing this . . . major security challenge.’’

Very interesting comments, as well as some surprising connections.

One begins to WONDER about ALL the PLAYERS on the MSM STAGE!

It's ALL PART of the SHOW!!

In New York, Daisy Khan, Rauf’s wife and a coleader of the proposed project, said yesterday that organizers are sticking with the plan despite protests.

Seeing as I started today at the mosque let give a minute's prayer for peace.

Sit down, readers, because I didn't read it and I don't want to spew rage if I do look. I'm with the New Yorkers on this one.

"Student held without bail in NYC cabdriver stabbing" by Associated Press | August 26, 2010

NEW YORK — A college student who did volunteer work in Afghanistan was charged yesterday with using a folding tool to slash the neck and face of a New York City taxi driver after the driver said he is Muslim.

Who are the throat-cutting terrorists again?

A criminal complaint alleged that Michael Enright uttered an Arabic greeting and told the victim, “Consider this a checkpoint,’’ before the brutal bias attack occurred Tuesday night inside the yellow cab on Manhattan’s East Side. Police say Enright was drunk at the time....

Defense attorney Jason Martin told the judge his client was an honors student at the School of Visual Arts who lives with his parents.

Enright volunteered for Intersections International, a group that promotes interfaith dialogue and has supported a controversial proposed mosque near ground zero....

Thing just won't die, will it?
