Morning Prayers at the Mosque

It may take a while to find one here in AmeriKa.

Fortunately, it is okay to hate Muslims here in AmeriKa -- for no reason at all.

"Mosque issue stands as proxy for religious freedom in US" by Beth Fouhy, Associated Press | August 7, 2010

NEW YORK — Mayor Michael Bloomberg has roundly dismissed complaints about the mosque from GOP officials while making what many might view as a fundamentally conservative argument: that government should not interfere in private enterprise.

“This building is private property, and the owners have a right to use the building as a house of worship,’’ Bloomberg said. “The government has no right whatsoever to deny that right.’’

The mayor scoffed when asked if he had any concerns about Rauf. “My job is not to vet clergy in this city,’’ he said.

But Debra Burlingame, a spokeswoman for the families of some 9/11 victims’, said that Bloomberg is being played, because Rauf has links to Muslim extremist groups and advocates the eventual Islamization of the United States.

“The mayor is demagoguing an issue that is wreaking agony on family members of those killed in the name of Allah,’’ Burlingame said. “Bloomberg says it’s about the separation of church and state? The imam doesn’t believe in the separation of church and state. He’s laughing up his sleeve.’’

Dear readers, I am so sorry my nation is filled with hate-filled idiots.

And so much for the TOLERANT, OPEN-MINDED American, 'eh?

"Plans for new mosques drawing protests across the US" by Laurie Goodstein, New York Times | August 8, 2010

NEW YORK — While a high-profile battle rages over a mosque near Ground Zero in Manhattan, heated confrontations have also broken out in communities across the country where mosques are proposed for far less hallowed locations.

Notice how a synagogue is never a problem?

In Murfreesboro, Tenn., Republican candidates have denounced plans for a large Muslim center proposed near a subdivision, and hundreds of protesters have turned out for marches and planning board meetings.

In late June, in Temecula, Calif., organizers with a local Tea Party group took dogs and picket signs to Friday prayers at a mosque that is seeking to build a new worship center on a vacant lot nearby.

Another Tea Party takeover.

:-(

In Sheboygan, Wis., a few Christian ministers led a noisy fight against a Muslim group that sought permission to open a mosque in a former health food store bought by a Muslim doctor.

Zionist dupes.

At one time, neighbors who did not want mosques in their backyards said their concerns were over traffic, parking, and noise. But now the gloves are off.

In all of the recent conflicts, opponents have said their problem is Islam itself.

This just shows you the depth of Zionist brainwashing in AmeriKa through its MSM and cultural and educational institutions.

They quote passages from the Koran and argue that even the most Americanized Muslim secretly wants to replace the Constitution with Islamic law.

What are they worried about? That it might improve the country?

These local skirmishes make clear that there is a debate now going on about whether the best way to uphold America’s democratic values is to allow Muslims the same religious freedom enjoyed by other Americans, or to pull away the welcome mat from a faith seen as a singular threat.

Talk about PERSECUTION and DISCRIMINATION of a whole group of people!

Feeding the resistance is a growing cottage industry of authors and bloggers — some of them former Muslims — who are invited to speak at rallies, sell their books, and testify in churches. Their message is that Islam is inherently violent and incompatible with America.

That sort of statement MAKES ONE WANT TO CRY when they realize HOW MANY MILLIONS we have KILLED with our WAR LIES!!!

What a bunch of f***ing idiot a**holes are my countrymen!

But they have not gone unanswered. In each community, interfaith groups led by Protestant ministers, Catholic priests, rabbis, and clergy members of other faiths have defended the mosques. Often, they have been slower to organize than the mosque opponents, but their numbers have usually been larger....

Because MOST OF US in the world WANT TO LIVE and LET LIVE!

It is only that SMALL RULING SLIVER at the top that BENEFITS from DIVISION!

There are about 1,900 mosques in the United States, which run the gamut from makeshift prayer rooms in storefronts and houses to large buildings with adjoining community centers, according to a preliminary survey by Ihsan Bagby, associate professor of Islamic studies at the University of Kentucky who conducted a mosque study 10 years ago and is now undertaking another.

A two-year study by a group of academics on American Muslims and terrorism concluded that contemporary mosques are actually a deterrent to the spread of militant Islam and terrorism....

The study disclosed that many mosque leaders had put significant effort into countering extremism by building youth programs, sponsoring antiviolence forums, and scrutinizing teachers and texts....
