No wonder CNN was calling him erratic. Anyone who isn't in lock-step favor of unmitigated mass murder in favor of the empire's agenda is deemed as such.
"A tearful Karzai appeals for peace" by Ernesto Londono, Washington Post | September 29, 2010
KABUL, Afghanistan — President Hamid Karzai yesterday lamented the slaying of a provincial official and renewed his appeal to insurgents to reconcile with the government,
weeping openly when he said he worries that his
son might not be able to grow up in Afghanistan.
What about the INNOCENT SONS that have been slaughtered in this atrocity based on lies?
WHY are ALL POLITICIANS and LEADERS so GOD-DAMNED SELF-CENTERED?!!
The deputy governor of southeastern Ghazni Province, Khazim Allayar, was
killed along with his son, a nephew, and a bodyguard early yesterday morning in the provincial capital when a
suicide bomber rammed a
rickshaw into the group’s vehicle, according to provincial spokesman Ismail Jahangir.
Yeah, yeah.
That has reached the point to where the media is just hollering the most ludicrous of wolves.
Speaking at an event in Kabul to promote literacy programs, Karzai addressed
Taliban members as “my countrymen’’ and
pleaded with them to refrain from “destroying your own homeland for the benefit of others.’’
Tell it to your MASS MURDERING INSTALLERS in Washington.

Oh, yeah. Watch your back.
'course, we are supposed to be watching that for you., but....
Yesterday afternoon, Karzai’s spokesman released a list of 70 Afghans who will sit on a council tasked with implementing the president’s
plan to get the Taliban and other militants to join the political process.
That COULD HAVE HAPPENED a LONG TIME AGO!

"The U.S. government was well aware of the Taliban's reactionary program, yet it chose to back their rise to power in the mid-1990s. The creation of the Taliban was "actively encouraged by the ISI and the CIA," according to Selig Harrison, an expert on U.S. relations with Asia. "The United States encouraged Saudi Arabia and Pakistan to support the Taliban, certainly right up to their advance on Kabul," adds respected journalist Ahmed Rashid. When the Taliban took power, State Department spokesperson Glyn Davies said that he saw "nothing objectionable" in the Taliban's plans to impose strict Islamic law, and Senator Hank Brown, chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Subcommittee on the Near East and South Asia, welcomed the new regime: "The good part of what has happened is that one of the factions at last seems capable of developing a new government in Afghanistan." "The Taliban will probably develop like the Saudis. There will be Aramco [the consortium of oil companies that controlled Saudi oil], pipelines, an emir, no parliament and lots of Sharia law. We can live with that," said another U.S. diplomat in 1997."
Say what?
Then why have a lot of people been killed over that?
Publicly, Taliban leaders say they will not negotiate while foreign troops remain in Afghanistan. But on Monday, the top US commander in Afghanistan, General David H. Petraeus, told reporters that
senior Taliban leaders have privately reached out to the Afghan government.
What, the bloodthirsty terrori.... awwwww, never mind.
I'm not in the mood today. I have a lot of other things to do.
During his speech marking World Literacy Day, an
emotional Karzai
accused NATO members and other countries of using Afghanistan as a battleground to settle their scores.
He lamented the state of insecurity in the country in personal terms, noting that schoolchildren and teachers are afraid to go to school because of the violence that plagues several provinces and saying he fears that young Afghans might abandon their country.
“I don’t want my son Mirwais to be a foreigner. I want Mirwais to be Afghan,’’ he said, breaking into tears as he mentioned his 4-year-old son.

“What it really boils down to is the Americans both supporting and in some cases maybe even participating in talking with the enemy,’’ a European official said. “If you strip everything away, that’s the deal here. So we gotta kill 'em all!!!

"Karzai speech calls on Afghan troops; Wants his forces prepared to lead after US pullout" by Rahim Faiez, Associated Press |
October 3, 2010
KABUL, Afghanistan — Preparing for the eventual exit of international forces, Afghan President Hamid Karzai called yesterday on his own police and army to get ready to take charge of defending the nation.
Karzai’s speech — upbeat with nationalistic themes — was an apparent move to bolster Afghanistan’s image as a sovereign nation that must plan for its future despite its heavy international reliance. Karzai said US and NATO forces will leave Afghanistan once they no longer feel the need to stay for their own national security interests....
Translation: We are never leaving.
Karzai’s speech
recounted three decades of history in Afghanistan, including
US efforts to arm the mujahideen in the 1980s, which helped
speed the defeat of the Soviets in Afghanistan.
And then the CIA took the list and started calling it "Al-CIA-Duh."

And we are still doing it, folks!
GOOD WAY for a GOVERNMENT to KEEP a WAR GOING, huh?
Afterward, however, Afghanistan’s international allies did not continue to help.
CIA press cover story.
“The US, Britain, France, and many other countries closed their embassies in Afghanistan because they didn’t see any more benefit to being here after the jihad victory over the Soviets,’’ he said.
They HELPED INSTALL Taliban, so WTF?!!
WHY is ALL OFFICIAL HISTORY a DAMN LIE?!!!!!!!!!!!!
The country then slipped into a civil war and turmoil that created an opening eventually filled by the Taliban, which provided a
safe haven for Al Qaeda. After the
Sept. 11, 2001, attacks in the United States —
carried out by Al Qaeda terrorists trained in Afghanistan — the United States
invaded the country it had
once helped liberate....
That is such a SICKENING DISTORTION of HISTORY!!
As bad as communists were the WOMEN COULD WORK THEN and need not wear the controversial veil.
AFTER the U.S. "liberated" them to Taliban it then invaded after 9/11 so it could "liberate" Afghan women from their villages, relatives, husbands, children, and very lives.

"Karzai’s brother to amend US tax returns" by Associated Press |
September 28, 2010
KABUL, Afghanistan — The eldest brother of President Hamid Karzai said he is not aware of a criminal investigation into his activities, an inquiry he says is more about political differences with the United States than wrongdoing on his part.
“I’m hurt, because instead of being praised for what I’ve done, I’m being attacked all the time for political reasons,’’ Mahmood Karzai, a
US citizen who now
lives in Dubai and has businesses in Afghanistan, said in a recent interview that touched on
corruption claims against him....

So how many suitcases of U.S-taxpayer cash did he declare?
Karzai said that he is
traveling to New York this week to
amend his earnings on his US tax returns to
show profits from business deals not previously reported....
That's all the bankrupt U.S. government wants: every scrap of spare change it can lay its finger (this in the form of a kickback) -- unless it is going into the war machine, Israel, well-connected corporations, or their lavish lifestyles at taxpayer expense.
