In recent weeks, probation officers have been reviving a tactic used during the so-called Boston Miracle in the late 1990s, when probation officers would show up unexpectedly, late at night, at the homes of the men and women they supervised. Law enforcement officials believe probationers will be less inclined to violate the terms of their probation — and perhaps commit crimes — if they know probation officers could show up at any point and see that they violated a curfew or find them in possession of drugs or weapons.
This fall, probation officers are visiting homes between 10 p.m. and 2 a.m. Protected by gang unit officers, the probation officers, who are not allowed to carry guns, can go inside the homes of their probationers without a search warrant....
That is FASCISM according to my STATE-SPONSORED HISTORY BOOKS!!
Isn't that what the BRITISH DID in BOSTON about 240 years ago?
The renewed efforts come as the Probation Department is being subjected to considerable scrutiny and criticism following stories by the Globe Spotlight Team reporting widespread patronage at the agency.
See: Boston Globe Probation Office Visit
And now they might be visiting your home!
Why don't you GO on a CALL like the Globe did?

Yeah, the state is the biggest gang around with the biggest guns.
