Occupation Iraq: Texas Escalation

A Connecticut soldier has died while serving in Iraq. The body of Private First Class Gebrah Noonan of Watertown was returned Saturday to Dover Air Force Base, Del. The Defense Department did not provide details about the death of Noonan, who was 26 and served in the Army. Governor M. Jodi Rell said Noonan died Thursday in a noncombat incident in Fallujah. His death is the second Connecticut casualty in about a month. Army National Guard Sergeant Steven Deluzio of South Glastonbury was killed Aug. 22 in Afghanistan.
