"Michelle Obama wins top ranking on power list

WASHINGTON — Here’s another first for Michelle Obama: First among Forbes magazine’s 100 most powerful women in the world.

In the annual rankings released Wednesday, Forbes says Obama has been a “true change-maker’’ since coming to the White House.

They have to be kidding!

The business publication cited her high approval ratings, her status as a role model, and her campaign against childhood obesity....

"Clinton dismisses talk of vice presidency in ’12

ASHINGTON — Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, responding to a question about the possibility of a job-swap at Fortune magazine’s Most Powerful Women conference in Washington:

“I have absolutely no interest and no reason for doing anything other than just dismissing these stories and moving on. I don’t believe what I read.’’

I finally agree with Hitlery on something.

Speculation about Clinton’s role in any bid by Obama for reelection increased after Bob Woodward, an author and editor at the Washington Post, said in a CNN interview last night that putting Clinton on the ticket in 2012 is “on the table.’’ He said some of Clinton’s advisers “see it as a real possibility.’’

And then expect Obama to meet with an unfortunate end.

"Obama, Condoleezza Rice have national security talk

WASHINGTON — President Obama met with former secretary of state Condoleezza Rice yesterday in a wide-ranging talk, the White House said.

The two met in the Oval Office for about a half-hour and discussed “a range of national security issues,’’ White House spokesman Tommy Vietor said.

He's taking advice from her?  Some change!

However, no details were disclosed, and Rice left without speaking to reporters....

Then she headed over to the Press Club.

WTF, corporate media?
